Ok, where the HECK was the notice that the TEST SERVER was now a 'kill every damm thing that moves' server? That's all I want to know.
If the devs, bh and gms cant keep the rules straight on the test server, how in the world can they keep them straight on the live server?
TWICE I undocked to go try and TEST something and got NUKED before i even got the space visual (still black screen from undocking) because MULTIPLE DIPWADS locked and fired.
If this is how the test server is going to be, then count me out.

It wad done last night.
I was on it before it was FFA, and then me and my friend crashed and when we logged back on, a popup was givin saying the market is 100 ISK and everything is 0.0
Ther was no offical notice.

I am more interested in knowing when and how the word 'Singularity' became 'SiSi'. I go away from EVE for several months and you all invent a new language in my absence.

It has been SISI for over a year, thats what the Devs call it. I can only assume it must be Icelandic.

Why do you think this Server is caaled a TEST-Server? Because it is for testing. If you want normal gameplay, you can allways go to the normal server.
And another side note. The Test-Server is NOT called Test Server because you can test things there (well you can, but you will run into trouble), it is called Test-Server because the devs want to test stuff there. For example the new cluster.
So stop being angry at the devs. You have been warned by them as you joined on a test server.

The first test server was named Chaos, this server is now a devs-only test server if at all running anymore.
The new test server after that was named SiSi, and later renamed Singularity, as far as I know.
Normally the test server has strict rules as to where combat is allowed and with whom, this in order for the devs to be able to collect the logs of those who actually test and record stuff among the myriad of people who just test for their own benefit. Last night, however, the devs wanted to stress-test the new hardware. That means they wanted as many torps as possible flying and as many people trying to blow each other up as possible. They even sent out an invite to TQ.

the whole server being ffa was just for testing. once TQ has been upgraded, normal test server rules apply to sisi (test server)

i can never spell Singularity right, so i just call it sisi. not really sure why everyone else does

^ The people above are right, but I'd also like to point out that Singularity is currently offline and the publicly accessable server is the new TQ... so the normal Singularity rules do not really apply.

Speaking of which... It's been a full day since TQ came back up, 2 since everything was taken offline for the move... When is SiSi coming back and are you gents going to fix the test patch page back?
I'd also like to point out that the EVE web really sux now. My connection has not changed, yet it takes almost 3 times as long to load the website... With all those spare computers you have laying around now, I really hope you decide to put a few of them on web support - it will help the game lag on patch day a lot and help the web during peak hours as well.

I believe that the server guys and devs, need to sleep after their mega stint moving TQ, I think they are just recovering now.
