Second, you say this game does not matter, but real life does matter. But you seem to not see that behind every player is a real life -- one that has spent countless hours and energy mining ore, or trading goods, or working missions for rewads. Sometimes, as with cargo spoken of above by peregrine, this is proabably the collective efforts of several people. THAT is real life.
If someone takes this game that seriously then they need to quit. This is just a game...I can say that. I play this game at least 6 to 8 hours a day if not more on the weekends and I have been ganked on many occasions and lost billions in ships and modules and cargo. I don't go losing my mind and trying to change the way the game is. I LEARN from my mistakes and adapt and overcome, which is what seperates the men from the boys. I tell my 5 year old son this all the time when he is playing his games...never let it get to you...if it does then it's time to WALK AWAY, do something else, but crying about it will not get you anywhere. When it boils down in the end it is still just a game.

Fourth, regarding what actually happens, it may not be a technical "exploit," but it is about as close as you can get, It is a loophole that is at this point not possible to close by CCP - and you and others are taking advantage of that to lower the security status of what is SUPPOSED to be relatively safe space. In other words, for most ships flying around Jita/Kisogo the systems are what tehyw ere intended to be - .9 - 1.0 space. But for haulers carrying valuable cargo, you and others have succeeded in making it .4. That is due to the mechanics of Eve, not the intentions of CCP.
This is the biggest misconseption with people in these threads....you actually think CCP wants to change this...where do you get your information please, because everything I've read in the past 12 threads of this topic (we need a search for the forums so multipule threads stop) CCP has no intention of changing it and it is ment to stay this way. The devs themselves have stated that there is no such thing as 100% safe space. This game is built on teamwork....the "PRATS" have done nothing but use teamwork and imagination to be able to gank in 0.9 space...if people can't do the same to keep from being a victom then I'm sorry...that's what this game is about. Winner's and loser's...there many tools and tactics that can be used to hinder hostilities against you and your corp members...you just have to learn how to use them.
I have been playing EVE since it was in beta testing and you have ALWAYS been able to gank people in high sec space. People just needed to learn how to do it. The devs have NEVER said it was an exploit and those who cry that it is are either victims or soon to be vitcims.
I have never ganked in high sec nor will I ever gank in high sec and my views are just that...my views. Nothing I say is an official statement of my corporation or alliance.
