Oh that would be nice to not have the 90 degree above your ship camera block.
That's called "gimbal lock". It's because they're using Euler angles rather than quaternions (or matrices) for the rotations. It's a rookie mistake.
Camera rotations are quaternions, which I can tell from the declarations in the C++ code, and the way that camera pitch is intentionally clamped.
I love it when you talk dirty.
Other than that, none of this is possible to be in Blood, it's been frozen for quite a while, the hardware upgrades and before that ze bugz stopped it from being deployed. This is duly noted for next release.
lol. "quaternions", "C++", "intentionally". All music to my ears ;).

i'd love if the devs stopped the map being so damn bright because I can't see a thing unless I zoom in really close.
I'm sure it would be simple to change the scale or give the us a slider which we can control it by. ------------- My Video: Start wearing purple while being very nasty |

It's already been mentioned by a dev that they are working on this issue.

Figured as much but if you would please get these done in next release it would be great. Small things that just irritate the heck out of folk.

Lose the buddy list green box beside people's names in chat channels. Replace with a standings icon same as your HUD settings. Implement it efficiently so it doesn't cause any extra lag. Include setting to enable/disable it per channel.
As an extra note: Default to disabled on all channels but Local, where it is enabled by default.
Buddy list icons should remain exactly there, in your buddy list. Buddy list options should be configurable so that you can 1) allow all to add you as buddy, 2) require permission to allow, and 3) disable all requests ---------- |

Oh, one thing I would like added, is an AFK indicator that you could set in any channel you wish, so, for instance, you could inform your corp or alliance mates that you are AFK when they login, or when chat requests come in, the chat requester gets a message that you are AFK and asks if he wants to continue with the chat request.
I don't know how many times I have been AFK to find several chat requests or people in Corp talking to me and getting upset when I don't answer because they didn't know I was AFK when they logged in. ---------- |

Camera use is probably clamped becuase someone patented the use of a 360 degree free roaming camera and was suing game companies left and right about it (and winning).

you mean transversal right?
Yes .. of course .. useless at the moment and the Size column is a poor substitute for ship class.
I prefer to see the speed they're at, tells me more than radians/s would, now I can align myself in same direction they're flying and match up my speed, and presto no tracking issue ------------------------------------------ The ammatar are not the enemy, they are the smoke and mirrors of the amarr. |

there is no good way. it you sort them by distance they are continously changing.
if you do it by name, the items with the same name switch positition exactly like johnson's law predicted (the most perjuditial way always)
the same if you sort them by icon, by speed, size, etc.
I think that would be hard to implement, keeping sorted by name the same, when the system has to update all the time to add newcommers to the list. What it could do, is to make the client compare the new list with the old list, and any newcommers should be added to the buttom of the apporpiate place. Will still result in miss-targetting from time to time, but should keep the list steady if there are no changes. But only name and size are viable for this solution.
wouldn't be hard at all. just disable overview update while the control key is held down. then you wont try to control click and end up targetting one of your drones due to an overview update.
----- my playstyle is anti-pirate. what does this mean? it means you'll never catch me in a valuable ship and/or setup where it can be compromised. go on, trade your ammo for the scraps you'll get. |

there is this thing with the GUI in the market - only a little thing, but it really annoys me.
Navigate to Ships --> industrials --> gallente, for instance. It brings up a list of ships. If you click on the bar saying "gallente" a second time, rather than closing that rollout, it reloads it, freezing up your controls for a second. This drives me mad! It is inconsistant with the rest of the user interface, and seems to catch me out every time. It should close that rollout, in a similar fashion to every other similar bar on the interface.
omg seconded! that gets me EVERY time, and its very annoying waiting for your client to unfreeze

What about the option to manually select the refresh rate on the overview. Anywhere from where it is currently, up to 5 seconds.
Slowing down my overview would make a significant decrease in the amount of mistargettings, or more often, misidentificatinos.

- An option to make the overview background solid
- An option to make the background for the info on targeted items solid (the info to the left of the overview)
- Make the pilot face forward and not backwards into the docking bay when undocking from a station

I would also like to see the tactical overview have degree gradations stamped on it. At least around the horizontal axis. 5 degree divisions would work nicely. Instead of labelling them, just make the 90 degree marks highest, 30 degree marks middling, and 15&5 degree marks much smaller.

My #1 bug is that my drones wont return to the bay reliably. Often they will get stuck just out of scoop range, forcing me to do a 180. This could easily be fatal in a Dom or Vex. Even return and orbit can trigger this, though less often. None of this happened pre-RMR.
I don't know how widespread this is, but it keeps happening to one of my corpmates as well.

Who cares about fixing old broken stuff when you can add new broken stuff, then after that add more new broken stuff and keep doing that. It's a flawless business plan.
Seriously, take a few minutes to fix the existing problems before creating more please.

Indeed. Eve is for the most part a very good looking game, but this just looks unprofessional. Seeing a carrier spazz all over the place cause it gets hit by a few cruise missiles... it's just not right.

*Freighters can't do player courier missions *Sovereignty transfer needs a clear guide as to how it's supposed to work - there's currently very odd behavior, including stations that are attackable by opponents when the owner has sovereignty, stations which cannot be attacked by the newly sovereign alliance, etc.

i totally hate this bug. at least they starting to fix drones though. on this particular issue, though I watched closely. a random number of the drones returning will actually hit your hull, bounce off and then trail just outside scoop range at a slightly slower speed than you. this means even if you slow down, they do to and won't come in range.
if you're quick with a good connection, you can command them to return to orbit and then return to drone bay one after the other and they will speed a up a little and come within range for a second or two. if you quick enough you can scoop them when they do.
i can only hope the fix they did for the drone MWD remedies this in the current patch. can't wait to get home and test it.

As ever, I would love to see CCP address the general issue with chat text alignment. This is a serious and disruptive issue which wasn't even looked at in Blood, or RMR before it.
Would just be great if players don't have to keep resizing chat windows in order to make the text line up as it should.
