Yes, this is another absolutely necessary thread for any off topic forum.
Concept is the same as with the "what are you listening to today" thread, just here it's specifically about introducing/recalling/sharing/enjoying great soundtracks.
Round 1:
"Come September" main theme by Bobby Darin (1961) The Greater Fool Bar is now open for business, 24/7. Come and have drinks and fun somewhere between RL and New Eden! |

Hermann, Barry, and Morricone, we are in good company. Morricone made frequent use of Alessandro Alessandroni's talents on guitar, who himself composed film scores, including Diabolik of MST3K fame. His jazz and downtempo works are also very good.
Shigeaki Saegusa composed one of my favorite soundtracks, that of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. While the bulk of it is atmospheric work, many battle musics are a blend of orchestral composition with funk and jazz fusion.

Round 3, sometimes a secondary theme becomes more famous and known than the main theme. I bet you couldn't recall the main theme for this film, but, oh, this little piece of which the film played less than a minute...

Good game Age of Conan, awesome (hot) avatars and of course a nice soundtrack... but eventually theme-park and level zoned maps killed it for me. One day I found myself kiling x bugs to raise level and move a bit forward on a map and had enough of it. The Greater Fool Bar is now open for business, 24/7.
