Ok....I've been trying to buy a "Hoarder" so I can expand my mining whiel I'm waiting on my other skills to build.
Problem is....it says I need "Minmatar Industrial II" skill. My "Industry" skill IS level II, but I still can't buy the ship. What am I missing here?

All the skills are referred to by their full, proper names. If it says a skill named "Minmatar Industrial" is needed at level "II" then it wants "Minmatar Industrial" at II and not "Industry."

If you want to use the Hoarder for mining more, you're out of luck. It, and all indies, have a max of 1 turret slot. Thus they can mine half of what any frigate can, except the Kessie, which can't mine anything. You'll be fine if you just want to use the Hoarder to haul ore, but using it to mine will actually slow you down.

They are great for afk mining in empire space though. Come back every few hours and make half a million bucks. I think its a excellent way to get cash in the beginning when you want to do other things besides playing the game.

People who hunt macrominers tend to know that you're more likely to find macrominers in barges rather than haulers.
That said, the reason I don't afk mine (unless I am actually physically at my P.C but devoting my energies to another program) is that you are fair game to anyone who wants to try suiciding you. Best to pay attention to the game I reckon.
