Because you're buying from a foreign country?
foreign :/ it's an internet transaction...
I wont (shouldnt) be taxed.
Anything that is bought in the UK (pretty much, certainly anything through a credit card) automatically is +17.5% afaik. Why? I don't know, most other countries seem to get by without it.
That's never happened to me before... and I DEFINITELY dont think it will happen for a "non material" transaction (ie doesnt go through customs and excise).
Stop talking crazy and tell me if I pay 49.95 USD or EURO.

If you live within the EU, you should pay 49.95 EUR, since Iceland is a part of the EEA and any transactions within the EEA are subject to VAT in the country of origin.
Otherwise, you would pay 49.95 USD.

I've tried to transfer a character to a new Power of 2 account but get an error stating: Target user type not allowed
Does the new account have to be 14 days old or something?

I too would really like to know the answer to this question. I even posted a thread about it:

It's +25% here (20% of the final price).

I get exactly the same error. I've logged it as a support call, but haven't had response yet. Anyone else any ideas why this is happening?

I have the same issue
I purchased purley to take a char from one account on this one and nothing. The charachter is 18months old so it is not an age thing ie 14 days. Surely the account doesn't have to be 14 days old, there is no reference saying it does.
I have petitioned but no response. Probably an error tied in with the plethero of other errors that are currently occuring.
Lets hope for some swift action so that we get value for money or maybe that is the ploy, we can;t use them for 3 months so in reality we are not saving any money.
Without Eve, my life would be dull :oP |

No. It's an offer limited to one P^2 account per account. It's linked to the account it's created with.

is there a way to set it up so that it is billed monthly at the reduced rate?
I would like to take up this offer and set up a new account for research and science but cannot afford the outright charge, but can happily pay for it month by month!

Lisento Slaven, technically, yes that would be against the EULA.
Shinnen, 50Ç if you like in the UK. Unfortunately, I do not know why UK citizens pay a higher price in the EU.
Lygos, until 31 March.
Captain Merkin, unfortunately, no, there is not a way to bill the P^2 account on a monthly basis.
Regarding the grace period, it is only for accounts created after the 23rd, not for accounts with billing dates that fall on or after the 23rd.

Thanks Kieron, thats a shame :(
I will perhaps purchase on the last day of the month in that case should the offer still stand then?

There is not a limitation on the number of P^2 accounts you can create, other than your bank account. --> ok i understand this in way that i can buy 10 acounts if i have the money ... or i'm wrong ??
my power of 2 option disapeared after i bought one new acount but i want to buy another one for me .. first one was for my brother .. so i can have another offer or no??

It was my understanding that you could purchase as many p^2 accounts as you like, but I will have to check to see if this was a mis-understanding on my part or a billing department oversight.

As i understand it, you need to make your trial account active, and then use that account to create a power of 2 account. That should work.
