We the undersigned respectfully request that you tell us when we can expect to actually play the game we are paying for.
We also request.. if its not too much bother.... that you consider using these forums occassionally to tell your paying customers what exactly the hell is going on when they cannot even enter the game
We do understand that all technology soemtimes have problems, we dont understand a complete lack of communication from you when these problems arise.

Usually i would rate you top in customer notification but we need answers now. This isnt some minor glitch, the game is going under big time. So i will politely ask that you inform us what is, or could be causing these massive issues we are experiencing. They only started since the new servers and the patch that was installed this week(the evil lag bringing blood patch!) Any sort of responce would be good at this point....

We know that you get the "petition bug" every time a new patch comes out....weird isnt it!! How does you taking time off after installing a patch help us(the paying customer) out when its the most glitchy time of all and you know it! Maybe im wrong, maybe you are hard at work in your offices trying to fix this... if so, TELL US!! Im not saying everyone agrees with what i say, but you can bet your ass they dont pay you money to play a game that may or may not function when they want to play it...

Well your totally right. Fact is that some "brain dead " games work very well. Like good old Diablo 2. Most of the time fine or Guild Wars. Well really if this goes to long these problems im out of this fantastic game. Joined to days ago and this is really they way CCP to get rid of customers. If a interested person on game reads this hes gone. And one thing i really want to know. When does the first Official CCP worker appear in this forum and tell us whats going on? Dont they have an emergency hotline? Or just sit in front of their TV s and watch football now? lol

I totally agree that it is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE that there is no communication from CCP. I'm a system manager in real-life myself, but if I would treat my 'customers' like this I would be out of a job tomorrow !

A response is all I'm looking for. Problems happen, and patch problems are understandable to a point. What I think most of your players would like to know is a) are you working on these problems? b)roughly how long can we expect to deal with this?
Even if you don't even know what is happening or how long it will take. Any feedback from CCP would be appreciated. Silence does nothing but cuase more frustration.

This is the first patch day I've yet experienced, but it would be nice to be kept in the loop... especially after all the downtime yesterday.

No News... nothing in the login screen.... 17,000 users... so I log into complete darkness and nothing... only seeing buddies logging.....
Time CCP learned to communicate properly, EVERYTIME there is an update and something is wrong there is nothing from CCP. WE ARE PAYING YOUR SALARIES.... time to act like it CCP....

FFS, people in empire reporting no lag at all, but me in 0.0 with hardly any peeps in local barely can log on, and when finally logged on i cant do **** !

sorry to dissapoint you, but empire is affected as well, maybe not as much, but i can assure you it aint paradise.
but the real issue is indeed the lack of communication, not the balancing of the eve universe.

quit your whining. they tell you to set long skills cause there are always glitches when a new patch comes out. Go to a movie or something, your not being productive.

C'mon CCP.
Get used to it - this happens with every patch CCP have deployed in the year or so ive been playing eve, just a little worse this time. last patch at christmas was rushed for PR purposes and stuff took over a month to fix after that (some stuff still isnt fixed from being broken in christmas patch).
At the end of the day, CCP have your (our) money, so its tough luck as far as they are concerned. After having my post removed in another thread for so called flaming (when it was actually a polite suggestion of compromise in reply to someone who was actually slagging ccp off i'mreally ticked off with CCP. I'm seriously thinking about cancelling my subs for a few months and coming back when the servers work.

PAYINGcustomers with legitimate complaints is NOT whining. so f*** off. And the lag/patch problems is not the issue here. The issue is that CCP obviously don't think the people paying their salaries are worth spending a few minutes time on and letting us now what's going on. I did not pay money to have some long term skill training, I paid to actually play the game. When a problem prevents this, the least one should expect is some info.

I'm 30 days into EVE and the game is great but... I have gone through 2-3 patches and a boatload of problems. I will continue to pay for this game but I think CCP need to give free month(s) of game play to make us all happy and to make up for loss of game play. I also seem to always have a skill that is ending at the time of the server issues, how convienent. I know the people at CCP would not be pleased if they had to work tireless hours to create this game and not get paid for it. How do we make up for lost time with our skills??? I don't want to be a newb forever!!!!

My biggests issue aside form the lag is all the side bar windows opening when ever I gate or dock or log in or when ever they feel like it.

As I said in the op..
the biggest issue for me is not that the fact there is problems, annoying that they are, it is the total lack of meaningful communication about those problems to the customers of CCP.
that is the thing that is ****ing me off the most.
technicalproblems happen... no communication is on the verge on contempt by CCP and is not acceptable

I know this, windows opening after every jump. But my biggest Problem: I can't send a petition, because Server error. And a f**king NPC destroyed my ship, because i could not fighting, not running, not hiding, no repairing, nothing.(Damn 2 Minutes delay!) The armor repair start to work as there are only 10 hull! My ship was a catalyst. 4Xe*Miner, 2 Rails, Laser, munition, ore, loot,....

there is comminication if you get out of this forum and look at other ones, they are working on it. you want them to tell you every step they are taking? go do something else.
and paying customers complaining over and over is whining. Send a petition if you have a problem and let them work to fix it. You think any major corp would even let you vent this much? your tv goes out you call them they tell you they are working on it. that is all you get. you call back and threaten to cancel and they say see ya.
honestly people, your not helping matters in anyway by ****ing and moaning. go find something else to do.
