Ok, anyone I have asked told me that you can mix low-grade and full-grade tech 2 implants.
So I made a set with alpha, beta, gamma and delta full grade, epsilon low grade as well as a low-grade omega.
But the set bonus doesn't come to effect. Also I noticed that the low-grade epsilon doesn't get bonus from the other implants.
Is this a HUGE bug or there is something I didn't understand?

Low grade and full grade effects are not supposed to work together. As for the epsilon not working, it may just be that the effect is small due to it only being the omega and itself working.

So that means tha you CAN NOT mix low-grade and full-grade implants (you don't get the set bonus when you do).
I had it wrong there. Maybe we need to make this clear a little bit more. I might not be the only person that thinks that you SHOULD be able to mix them.

You are supposed to be able to mix low grade and full grade tech 2 implants. They have to be of the same type though, both halo or slave or whatever.
If you think they are bugged just file a bug report. _______________ |

Edited by: K Agg on 06/03/2006 17:23:54 No, I don't mix types. All the implants are Snake type.
I don't know if you can check it through the datbase Tuxford. I may be able to make a screenshot and e-mail you if you want.

I haven't heard about a bug regarding these implants but I'll have a look tomorrow. _______________ |

You have always been able to mix 'full' and 'low' grade ones. From the day they were introduced.
It says 'slave effect' etc. There's no difference in high or lows, just how strong they are.
If you've just plugged them in you might have to relog for the 'set effect' to be applied to the individual effect on one implant.
