Hello,
I've been through 2 trials and decided to finally go for it. I want to create a pure PvP character, taking advantage of the new bloodlines - already chosen Caldari-Achura.
I was doing quite lots of forum-reading, and came up with these base attributes as my best bet: INT: 10 MEM: 8 PERC: 10 WILL: 8 CHAR: 3
But, my question is: since I'm aiming for PvP, perhaps it would be reasonable to lower memory and boost intelligence / perception, so that the attributes would look like: INT: 11 MEM: 6 PERC: 11 WILL: 8 CHAR: 3
I want to train drones widely aswell, but since many more skills require perception / intelligence, I thought that lowering memory would eventually pay off.
Any advice will be greatly apperciated! Thanks! |

I'd go for the second set.

Dont know yet. Need to check. Hard to say that CHA is bad or not. If CHA is the flavour of a patch/expansion for CCP, you will suffer big time. For now, it is not important. ----------------

Don't think about charisma whatsoever.
1) It's a rumor started by the same people that probably claimed that "all active skill trainings will be completed when the servers get upgraded!" 2) Its' a T2 battleship. Keep in mind that most T2 versions of existing ships retail from anywhere from 10x to 30x the T1 version. (in the case of the destroyer or AF it's a ridiculous multiplier) IE a T2 megathron could very easily cost a billion to 3 billion isk, that's a LOONG TIME AWAY and many, many players will play for a very long time and never have the money to outfit it, much less buy it and rarely have a reason to fly it. It's barely a step down from worrying about your primary/secondary for titan training. :p 3) Assume charisma secondary, perception primary and lets assume you have a 19 in it. Assuming it does use charisma and you then decide to do the learning skills to save you some trade time. 3+9=12. Assume it uses intelligence or some other random stat you have at 19 your total comes to 19+9.5(19/2 for secondary)= 28.5. Your total using charisma comes to 19+6=25. IE your total training time difference is a mere 18%. IE if it took you four weeks if it used int as secondary it would take less than five weeks if it used charisma as secondary. 4) There is no chance in hell T2 battleships will use charisma as primary. 5. Regardless of how end-game it is, it's a single skill, don't put points in at character creation for a single skill, particularly for a skill you won't use for a year or more, and particularly an attribute that there's no way in hell you'll get training time out of on a PVP character.
