What order do you set waypoints in? I always seem to have my destinations doubleback on me when I'd rather go in a more or less straight line. It's difficult to have to check the map and figure out where everything is in relation to each other.
Thanks.

Have you ever considered the shortest route to somewhere may mean doubling back ?...... ---------------------------

Not all the systems are inter-connected: you'll be traveling in set pathways every time. Best option if you don't have to visit waypoints in a set order is to optimize them and get to the nearest ones first.

I guess too I get confused with the Destination as oppose to waypoint. I think I just gotta learn how to map better
Thanks.

On your Waypoints tab there are options for moving each waypoint up or down in the list. It can be handy for stringing them in a logical order. There is also a button for Optimize, which does essentially the same thing, but in some cases you may have to double back for, say, a pickup, so Optimize won't always work.

If you need to visit your destinations in a certain order, you set the waypoints in the order you need to follow. The way you get from one waypoint to the next will be determined by your settings for travel i.e. safer route vs. shortest route as determined in your map settings.
If you just want to visit a bunch of destinations in no particular order, set a waypoint for each and then use the optimize route button on the map box to find the best route between them. This also will be affected by your settings, so you may find a trip requires 5 jumps using the shortest setting vs. 12 jumps if you set it to safer routing.
