Hi, I'm curious as to why a master skill like Logistics is a willpower/perception based skill but the sub-skills that you use under it e.g. shield emission, capacitor emission etc... are all intelligence/memory based skills.
Why would the attributes of the sub skills not be the same as the master? |

Logistics is a T2 ship skill and is Will/Per like all other T2 ship skills. The other skills you listed are related to non-weapon, non-propulsion modules and like just about all skills related to non-weapon, non-propulsion modules are Int/Mem. Where are you seeing the inconsistency? |

Logistics is non-weapon, non-propulsion so why would it be Will/Perc? I read what you posted about it being a T2 ship skill but it still should make sense and not just be something by default. You would only use non weapon non propulsion skills with logistics so there's the inconsistency. |

It's that way because that's the way the devs want it to be.
All T2 ship skills are the same. It doesn't matter whether it's a combat ship or the complete opposite. It's still an advanced ship skill. All T1 ship skills are the same. All T3 ship skills are the same. The subsystem skills are different (some of them are anyway). Etc. |

By this logic transport ships should also be int/mem, right? Still will/per; they're T2 ships as well. Recons? Same deal. Primary purpose is to field ewar modules (int/mem) but the ship skills are still will/per.
It's highly consistent. T1 ship skills are per/will. T2 ship skills are will/per. Logistics are no exception. |

Why would they be?

Why would the attributes of the sub skills not be the same as the master? Why would they be? It would be logical, captain!

Why would the attributes of the sub skills not be the same as the master? The Logistics skill is about commanding Logistics Ships. It's not as much about the intricacies of how/when to use a repair module but more about distinctive on-board features, crew compliments etc. and general capabilities of that specific ship class. |

Amusingly the Logistics skill is still required for Tactical Logistics Reconfiguration. It makes sense in the naming scheme, but it's a ship skill being used as a prerequisite for a module. That part's a little weird. Latest video - Pandemic Legion titan and supers killed |
