The Barony of Vulnezia, which is a small state on Kor Azor Prime, inaugurated a new luxury space liner service between star systems Mani and Kor Azor with stops in between, including Amarr.
The maiden voyage of the Sigil class ship GÇ£Star LinerGÇ¥ (registration INS69) took place today with high profile passengers though the Baroness Vulna liv Tosh, could not make it sadly.
On board were the founders of the state run Star Liner service, as well as a few famous dancers to provide on board entertainment to paying customers. The Star Liner spokeswoman also said there is a first class cabin for all paying customers and a smaller rear cabin for slaves and immigrants. The ship can carry up to one hundred passengers.
GÇ£The first flight today was a big success and we look forward to providing quality Amarr service between very important business hubs. Especially Amarr and Mani systems where Capsuleer frequent for business.GÇ¥ Said Lyrid Nispoh, the Armada vi Vulnezia Captain of the ship 'Star Liner' . "We want to tap into a future market for capsuleer Crews and Maintenance workers."
The Star Liner service is not without critics however. One man who protested at the loading dock in Amarr said GÇ£This is an old ship that was used for mining and was rushed into service, it is unsafe, I would not fly with them.GÇ¥
When we asked Star Liner officials about the ships previous service history, we were told the ship was used in various roles and would continue to be a cargo ship while also a luxury liner to passengers in two separate cabins that will provide top of the line comfort and safety in space.
Sola Azor, the Chancellor of Vulnezia promoted the Star Liner in a state dinner a month ago "Vulnezia is committed to promoting the comfort of crews, we want to see capsuleer's use more crew as well on their elite ships. It is only fitting we provide Luxury service for capsuleer crew and workers as well."
Time will tell if VulneziaGÇÖs new luxury space liner service will take off. More details about the liner service and the Star Liner ship can be found at their website www.vulnezia.com
Video of the new Luxury Star Liner can be seen here on Empiretube

Vulnezia Fast Action News Special Report!
The Star Liner service is temporarily suspended after a capsuleer pirate fired on the Star Liner while she was peacefully traveling in Tash Murkon space at approximately 1735 eve standard.
No injuries were reported, however Captain Lyrid Nispoh said passengers were shaken by the sudden and unprovoked assault. Exotic Dancers on board were the most visibly shaken.
A spokesman for the Liner service said this "We have identified the attacker as a capsuleer who is registered as a part of the Amarr Empire Militia! We will submit our protest to the government and the Militia to see justice served. Thankfully Concorde and the Amarr Navy saved the Star Liner before the pirate destroyer could do more damage."
Damage to the Star Liner is reported as extensive and will require thousands of ISK to repair. We hope to have more details about this attack and what it means for shipments of Kor-Azor Pizza to capsuleer crews in Mani.
We now return to our regularly scheduled program Slaver Hound Dynasty

so the service survived entirety of 20 minutes before becoming a rather large and obvious target for pirates. |

Dear Baroness Vulna,
The Arzad Hamri Fellowship has also modified a vessel for passenger transport. We use it to ferry passengers to and from Hamrite Meditation Retreats. The ship we use is a modified Armageddon called the Grey Wind. Along with a complete fitting of armor hardeners, it also has an Ancillary shield booster and full hangar of defensive drones. Our passengers feel quite safe from Gankers and Pirates in high security space.
You might want to consider ditching the Sigil for something a bit more robust, especially having advertised your routes through crossings known to be frequented by Ganker Gangs just waiting to attack. I'm sure your passengers would appreciate the added assurance that the liner's defenses are robust enough to withstand a considerable attack.
Blessings on your endeavor,
Theobar "The fire in our hearts burns for salvation, redemption, and grace. May the Word of God grant you the courage to save yourself and your people" (The Last Words of Arzad Hamri) |

This is rather ridiculous.
Ms. Vulna, until you elaborate on the purpose of advertising a service obviously targeted at baseliners to a bunch of capsuleers, that is, spacefaring people with access to serio, I'll take the liberty to either suppose you are crazy or want your passengers dead.
Those two aren't mutually exclusive, of course. - Leopold Caine, Domination Malakim ___________________________ Angels are never far... Stillwater Corporation recruitment open. |

Again, the most obvious problem was that you assumed other capsuleers wouldn't shoot at you. They will. At any chance given. It's sad that my allies in Amarr space decided to do this, but such is the way of things. |
