Dust is a good game and it does get better each time an update gets ironned out, but not many truly get the fw story line so on the factional warfare loading screens why not have a few line about the race there fighting for or a little history breifing, i know theres loads of lore and you couldnt scratch the surface doing this but enough to get the merc's to go online and look up the lore themselves. i think alot of Dusties might get hooked on eden even more if they knew what they were fighting for and why.

I agree, one idea is having Dust groups fight through a level systems to obtain valuable loot or even a sneak and hack either on a station, asteroid etc... Maybe have a mission that requires the Eve player to hack into the station and a group of mercs to go in and obtain the final reward. Another issue I would like to see a planet or moon industrial side which Dust players just like in Eve can create items to sell. They can expound on this by giving a chance for Dust players to use drugs just like eve pilots. These are just a few ideas to kick around. Garett R |

Because CCP doesn't want them to be faction loyal. They stick to the idea that if you're a DUST player you're supposed to be a mercenary. Some try to break out of that nitch but with no PVE or ways to gain money other than PVP they are forced to take contracts or Play pubs is what they call it .To afford to do FW.
One of my biggest concerns since the beginning is the ability of a console player to even access the info and lore of the EVE universe without a PC and it took for ever for me and others to get CCP to do event announcements at login without having to visit the forums.I don't know how many times Ive heard dusters say that the paragraph provided didnt tell them much and they wish they were a different race now that they've done some research. The paragraph for the Amarr is biased as hell and makes us out in short just to be slavers.
How and why the 2 games did not have the same forums from the beginning is beyond me.DUST could've been regulated to a sub forum on here so that the ideas could flow.At least for each others viewing but I think that has to do with confirmation of email through psn.
