So I've been mulling over an idea I had yesterday which is very appealing to me;
My main toon is currently in a solo pirate corp based in FW space. I'm having a ton of fun but ISK income is very low so I've been considering join FW with my solo corp. I don't want to do FW like a conventional FW player, I'd still roam and engage every player I encountered [including friendly militia] but I could kill people that had nearly capped plexs and finish the plex for the LP.
I know this will make me very unpopular amongst FW players but that doesn't concern me as I'm a solo pvper and allies aren't of interest to me. But I'm a little unsure what taking such a negative hit on my faction standing will do. I currently have -8 security standing so high sec is out of bounds. But will having terrible standing to my faction warfare faction affect me in any other ways?
Thanks

You should probably study a bit more about FW. I have a frig/destroyer alt for FW, and from what I know... though haven't tried it, but if you go postal on fellow FW players you start losing standings and eventually get kicked out of FW. Also there are requirements on standings to join in the first place.
imo a good thing, since if all FW peeps do is go around blowing each other up, how could they ever increase their standings and gain the LP multipliers? So you would like to be at -50% LP all the time? Or you just want everyone else to be broke like you are with piracy? hehehe GÇö+¬GÇö |

Okay right, so how about if I move say 4/5 alts in my corp with slightly positive standing. Would that balance out my corps standing with whoever so I could stay in FW and keep killing everyone? Or would it kick my corp because I'm the CEO with terrible standing?
Edit: I'm considering it to earn some passive ISK from pvping in plexs, if other people get less ISK that's just a bonus =D. |

I've been thinking about this too.
If you have four alts in corp each having unmodified standings of above 2.5 then a fifth character can be -10 without the corp being kicked, right?
Datacenters & COSMOS might be a good way to do this relatively painlessly? |

Looking at the stats the last couple days you might want to make Amarr alts :) |

You can indeed do this if you have a couple in-corp alts with decent faction standings. Those alts can be completely inactive.
FW piracy generates enormous tears if you start shooting blues, and a character name like that is ideal for it. You need to name your ships accordingly and have access to an infinite point hictor for when it would be useful.
Facpo will hunt you in highsec which may be a nuisance but isn't any worse than being -10. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content. EVE's golden rule: Never trust anyone in-game unless you are sleeping with them in real life. Even then, they may only be screwing you to screw you. |
