Ok corps have an issue with alt spies and other potentially hostile ppl getting into their corp the use of screenshots via email outside of eve esp with the large alliacnes and so forth. What id like to see to keep it ingame is a simple voluntary disclosure evemail sendable by applicants that agree to tell prospective corps their alts.
Would work like this player a wants to join corp a. Player a is a non threatening player just wanting a new corp but not wanting to send screenshots via evemail. How about the player being able to send the corp CEO that he is applying for an offical concord evemail tellin ghe CEO all alts that the player has.
Now this would be up to the applicant weather or not he wanted to send the mail so it would be voluntary. A little box on applicatoin i agree to let CEO know all of my alts. CEO then gets applicantion as well as a evemail form the player saying from concord these are my alts.
Course players would have the choice not to send evemails and then its up to CEOs to decide if they want to take such members (it bypasses external methods - poses less of a security issue) is voluntary on behalf of the player (character) joining the corp. Would allow CEOs to manage applicants and alt spies etc. Wouldnt stop 2nd accounts and the like and im sure some corps wouldnt really care anyway to ask for it but for those corps that atm ask for screenshots outside of game it would save a lot of issues. They could say u send the voluntary evemail telling me from concord all youre alts u can join. Would make it harder but not impossible for spies and would lead to alliances actually needing to get scouts in ships into enemy space.
Anyway ill throw this open to discussion some players may not like the idea lots of CEOs would and its all voluntary so there are no burdens placed on players in regards to that side of things. But it would allow CEOs better screening and reduce the use of alts to a degree in terms of corp theft (still possible of course)
Im sure CCP would easily implement this as well as days since last login details available to all CEOs on members in their corps a simple data field stating the amount of days since the toon last logged in (helps with managing inactives)

1) The "Days Since Last Login" feature, I think its vital at this stage in game. Allot of players joined EVE, allot of Noobs and Trials floating about. Allows all directors and CEOs to gauge properly whom to keep and whom to kick, especially in larger corporations where it is difficult to tell WTF is going all the time.
2) The "Volontary/Concord ALT Disclosure" sounds good as well. However, I am pretty sure that what will happen is that ANYONE, (and any CEO/Director with any grey matter left) will require this as mandatory in order to accept new member. That would simply be one thing that would be a "must complete" for any applicant.
3) I would suggest one more tool: A feature which can only be used if the war has been declared against a corp. This feature will work like the "Volontary/Concord ALT Disclosure" but only with existing members. Basically a CEO or Security Officer could request a "Current ALT Status" from ALL members.
In other words, an EVE-Mail will be sent to ALL members individually, stating that a CEO/Security officer/Director has made a request for the disclosure of their ALT. Little check mark will be in the EVE-Mail, to either COMPLY or REFUSE. After that, well, you get the picture.
Cheers.

mmmm good idea some corps request all 3 alt slots are used created and join the corp. EIther that or they request a list and keep them on a corp forum and such.
But the voluntary disclosure would fit CCPs ideal of choice. U choose to disclose or not.
Days since last login is good and the war idea is also a good idea. Ie updated voluntary disclosure. Im going to link to this thread whenever similar discussion comes up simply because its an idea that needs to be in eve.

Great idea would allow corps to have some control over alts and make disclosure voluntary for characters as well

What does that mean? You mean "So I better put my professional alt spy on his own account then..." The answer is of course! Thats a YES.
Still a great idea. Will actually require some work for the spies.
