We are a 30 member mining corp that may be looking for a new home. We currently have a contract with a major alliance to live in their space and pay a monthly fee for them to not shoot at us. Things are getting a little hot out here and we are thinking about a move. If you have a piece of 0.0 that has a refinery station and people who are neg to you never harrass you in your own space, please get a hold of me and we can talk terms. At this point I really do not care if you are a good alliance or bad. Your space just has to be safe for your friends. My guys are losing millions of isk every day from getting popped.

They said they paid for the alliance to let them stay there and not be shot at by them. Not to protect them. Unless this post is misleading or badly worded they are not under their protection.

IRON has never guarenteed to defend carebears in our region, that is clearly stated during the interview for resedency. The ammount you have paid is for US not to kill you while you're in Deklein! As we have a NBSI rule in Deklein. POTUS YOU KNOW THAT only too well as VNTR your ex-corp drew up those rules, if you wasn't aware of it what hole have you been hiding in?
Oh and let me know what you're dong so I can adjust standings towards your corp, If I don't hear from you in a week I'll take it you've left Deklein and you'll be 0.0 to IRON

He clearly stated that they paid to not be shot at by locals, not for any sort of protection. He simply said that it was too hot in the area now, which is perfectly understandable for a small mining corp.

Just read you post properly POTUS, and yeah you have stated you pay us not to kill you, my bad... At least I've outlined the rules as they stand at the minute to anyone who wasn't aware of them As usual other corps have twisted their replies to suit themselves so it reads differently if you actually quickly scan through the thread

Don't get too happy. Potus' arrangement was unprecendented, and wasn't ratified until long after he was out of VNTR and in his own PIMP corp/allaince. What most people never realize is you get what you pay for.
In this case, PIMP doesnt want any responsibility for the region, they just want to *****the roids, and they are looking for a better deal.
Up until a few weeks ago, only people who were charged isk for regional access were the ones that specifically wanted nothing to do with developing the region and defending it. They werent interested in the larger politics of the game...hence...passholders vs residents. Accepting the responsibility of living in Dek and calling it your home is a pretty big leap from paying for mineral/ratting access, and the average corp isnt capable of the industrial output necessary with keeping large loads of pvp pilots working hard.
PIMP isnt doing anything wrong, except maybe setting a very bad example for the rest of the folks that actually live in Deklein.

Keep in mind I am in no manner saying this based on personal opinion, if that were my call, resident corps would be advised to CYA and form an alliance yourselves and start taking responsibility for your losses rather than blame it on the guys you already agreed to defend Deklein with.

Defend yourselves and the region - it will make life a lot easier for you. So what if you are industrialists... jump in a t1 cheaply fitted frigate and go and at least try and kick ass. We do (though we still need a lot of practice). We get podded and lose ships quite frequently but we mine more than we lose. |

You do realise that IRON have more important hostiles than you, infact have had the 5/ascn/other random corps attacking/ganking more effectively and for longer. Do please get over yourself

all i know is that IRON/G forces love coming to D7, and if anyone isn't interested in a fleet fight that day, or is in the off time zone we just point them to Delkien and smile.
Anyway, we know its not all us, and props to everyone else we see in G/IRON space more than G/IRON
