I haven't been stuck for a long time, and so I havent done a petition for a long time.
Please post how long your stuck character petions took.

Yup. Stuck petitions are sorted asap.
Made a cheat petition once about a guy using a NPC name for his char. That was ansered within an hour.
Made one "other" petition too. That one took 2 days.

I was stuck in a station 2 days. fisrt day didn't do petition cause figured were2 systems of stucks and next reboot ould fix.
2nd day did petition. logged off. came back and not only was I unstuck. but the bp I was picking up and my ship had both been moved to different station. and it also saved me 7 jumps home as it was closer to me home system.
big THANKS to "GM Guard"
the petition had been answered in 15 minutes. by the dates/time stamp.
if it is old petition. close it. open new one. be nice, no swearing. be professional and make new request.

Thats not necissarily true, ive had some petitions with alot of swearing in them (i was mad) and they were answered fairly prompt (6-24 hours).
Your stuck petitions should be (key word: should) within 15-120 mins. Other petitions, its taken me anywhere from 5mins - 3 days to get an answer.
It really depends on what your petitioning over, but since they removed general petitions, well, your options are limited.

I must admit, I have been pleasently suprised by the petition times, the staff have been prompt and helpful. I know this isnt true for every petition that has been put in, but for mine.... just like to say thanks to the guys who sorted me out....
