In fitting window you could see the impact of Omnidirectional mods increase tracking and optimal/falloff.
After the new patch the stats are not updating on show information regardless if they are scripted or not |

Nah, they're definetly not useless atm. You simply right-click them and select "Set Auto-Repeat On"
There's a bug present and known by devs now that the stats of the active modules don't update on your drone bay info, but when you test them in space it's clear that the effect is working. Simply find a target that's about 5-10km outside what your range shows on "show info" when the drones are in bay, deploy drones and start shooting, you should be getting plenty of misses, activate your modules and you should start hitting your targets, at least works for me. I did notice a small drop in the effectivity, but I think this is because of the capability of overheating and scripting, will have to find new optimal fitting for what I do, but not that big of a deal if we get a UI fix to show the changed attributes. |

Try removing the module, and repackaging it, then refitting it. I had this issue, did this and it worked just fine.

Still does not update drone stats on info window. I would like to know how far the drones can hit.

maybe they'll just leave it so that drone attributes will never show properly. they have never shown actual stats when you look at them in space... |

Yea surprised to see that there has been 3-4 patch releases for other bugs fixes that do not apply to 5% of eve players but the one that does affect 100% of eve players is being ignored or cant be fixed?...
If you are managing to calculate the effects of Omni mods surely you can display them? |

Bump.
CCP, stop futzing with the map and causing all sorts of random meltdowns by something that was never even asked for in the first place, and please make sure that one of the most used weapon platforms in the universe shows the player the correct information so they can make proper battlefield decisions.
This has been an issue for how long now? Fix it. Please. Thank you! |

i see differences.....sometimes.
but it seems there are a few time it doesn't work ,but it's hard to tell, it's more of a feeling.
this and the fact sentrys are bugged anyway, was attacking a pos yesterday (small) with ishtars, using gardes, sitting at 30 km.
gardes missed around 10-15% of their shots.....yeah, they can't track a pos @ optimal, maybe it's moving too fast or sig is too low, i dunno........ |

Thanks for the reports of this issue, we are aware of it and I've mentioned previously here. Unfortunately it's not a simple fix and requires some extensive background work before we could address it.
You will find that, (as some people have mentioned) the issue only affects what the show info window displays and that in practice all the correct bonuses are still being applied to your drones.

I mean, you changed the module with the knowledge that it will break the display, right? So you must have had some estimation how long it will remain broken. Don't forget about ship insurance before undocking. Don't forget about copy-paste saving before posting. |
