Apparently using DirectX 9 instead of DirectX 11 resolve this issue. I don't have this problem anymore by doing so. |

I'm having a very similar problem. After a few gates the client completely freezes and returns "CCP EXEFILE.EXE has stopped responding" and closes.
Windows Error Reporting kicked back this:
Quote:Faulting application name: ExeFile.exe, version: 2014.1.70.5482, time stamp: 0x52e11c87 Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x69687420 Faulting process id: 0x998 Faulting application start time: 0x01cf1d56d618d75a Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin\ExeFile.exe Faulting module path: unknown Report Id: 1e10152b-8953-11e3-adb4-40618693d039
System specs: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 AMD Phenom II X6 1090T EVGA nVidia GeForce 760 GTX 2GB 16GB DDR3 1600 G.Skill Sniper
I tried DX11 and DX9 mode. I also tried it with K-Boost on and off for my video card. I've tried the following Video Driver versions (in order):
- 332.21 (WHQL Newest)
- 334.67 (Beta Newest)
- 331.82 (WHQL)
- 331.93 (Beta)
- 331.65 (WHQL)
- 331.58 (WHQL)
- 326.41 (Beta Currently using now - also the furthest back the nVidia website has available)
- Running single client or multi client seems to have no effect. Neither does running full screen vs windowed mode.
- Seems to happen more OFTEN undocked or when changing sessions (docking/undocking/taking a gate) but also when initializing warp. Sitting in station can take hours for a client to crash, but undocked and doing stuff maybe 15-20 minutes at MOST, and in a freighter, that's 1-3 gates.
Thinking it might be an issue with Dual Screening on one GPU (no idea, was trying everything) I tried adding a second video card for my second screen and no change. I also tried removing both the second GPU and the second screen completely, still no change. Developer of www.eveidb.com - Relational EVE database! [Still under construction] |

Same runtime error here.
However, only one account seems to be effected. Using the same launcher on the same computer, only one account continually crashes within 5 minutes of log in, the other remains open. A pc reboot and only running the "crashing" account did not solve the problem.
This problem also did not occur immediately. It was an hour into playing, and more than 20 warp/jumps, that crashes started to happen.
OP: Mind renaming this topic to "Runtime Error" or something? Seems to be the issue here whether it's related to warping or not. |

I played as much as was playable last night. Here's what seems to be the case for me in more detail:
If I warp around in any given system without using a jumpgate or docking, it will crash on me after the second or at most the third jump.
If I dock or use a jumpgate before the crash occurs, like if I'm just warping once through a system, it doesn't crash. It's like it resets the number of warps I can make before I crash. I made 7 jumps to Jita and back without crashing.
But as soon as I make that second or third warp, I'm out. Doesn't matter what ship (this has happened in my Stratios, Kryos, and shuttle). Doesn't matter what system. |

I'm having the exact same problem ever since 1.1. I filed a petition and sent them a minidump file. Hope this gets fixed soon. I could be mining for two hours filling up my orca and as soon as I warp to a new belt, BAM! Runtime error and kicks me to desktop.
I thought it was hardware related at first but after running tests, specially memory tests with memtest86, everything comes back clean. Tried repair tool as well with no luck. |

Maybe this can be of some help for people that are really stuck... I adjusted all graphic settings to lowest in the character selection screen. After that I was finally able to break the warp crash cycle. After that I maxed the settings out again. I even thought I solved it because I played for a whole hour without any problems and warped at least 20 times. But after that hour the video driver crashed again in warp and 10 minutes later again. Aaaaargggg But lowering video settings might do the trick until CCP fixed this... |

Oh lucky me!
I just so happened to upgrade to a new Radeon HD 7870 at the SAME TIME that the new Rubicon patch came out. Having not played EVE in a few days, this was my first chance since installing my brand new card. Was on a 4870 previously.
My first warp resulted in a long screen freeze prior to jumping through the gate. When I jumped through the gate, after arriving on the other side there was another very long screen freeze.
I warped to a station and docked.
When I undocked and warped back to the gate, the game froze up and kicked me to the desktop. The client was still up and I could hear the music playing, but Task Manager said the client was Not Responding.
I got back into the game. Jumped through the gate. The 1st jump was okay, but then I warped to another gate, and same thing. Freeze, close to desktop, music playing, client Not Responding.
I thought 'Oh great. So much for my great new video card. "
But now that I see others are having similar problems after the patch perhaps its not my new card. Sadly the coincidental timing is going to have me wondering now.

TEMPORARY WORKAROUND:
I think I found a temporary workaround. I in a previous post I already mentioned that minimizing video settings helps to avoid the warp crash (for me at least). But that wasnGÇÖt really a satisfactory solution. So I started to narrow it down.
I found that disabling AA (Anti-Aliasing) solved the problem for me (tested over 1:30h with over 70 jumps over various accounts). ItGÇÖs not a perfect solution but at least all other settings can stay maxed out.
Hope this helps!

I'm having some pretty good luck so far by turning off AA and switching to Direct X9 textures. The anti aliasing can be found in your in game menu under graphics. To change Direct X, its in the actual launcher menu. Their will be a little "gear" icon at the top right corner. Then click on the DirectX tab all the way to the right.
So far it's been working for me. Hope this helps.
P.S. You have to restart your launcher and game when changing between DirectX's |

I'm one of players getting this very same error, C++ runtime error blablabla.
interesting thing, as long as i just use mission acceleration gates or jumpgates error never happens. As soon as i board my salvager, warp to the bookmarks around, each 2 or 3 warps i get this runtime error, it happens short before the warp finishes or right after warp has finished. At start i didn't pay attention to this, thought maybe some glitch, but now as it doesn't stop i ended up here in this topic. But it look's like we are in minority here, since no devs have answered this.
P.S. I also tried using DX9 and disable AA. No luck, still occasional runtime errors. All this started to happen after rubicon 1.1 patch.

Can confirm that I am also still experiencing this crash.
Hasn't happened on any ship besides a Noctis, but from previous posts it seems to be one of the specific ships with problems.
I am also running a Radeon card, and I have been seeing quite a few of them in the system stats above. Only picked out two Nvidia users, one of which only had the issue in the Stratios.
Will try out the Anti Aliasing fix today, and Edit post with results.

I am also having the runtime error when exiting warp. It only occurs for me in lowsec and warping to a poco, container or docking at a station. It does not seem to crash when I am warping cloacked to any of the situations that case the crash.

I too have no run into the Visual C runtime error. Luckily it was only while cleaning up a level 4 in my Noctis, so no risks of losing what I was flying, but still a nuisance nonetheless. I see someone suggested turning off Anti-Aliasing, so will try that shortly to see if it helps (if it does, you have my eternal gratitude!).
For posterity, my specs are Win7 64, i5-3550 and a Radeon HD5750 1GB. And yes, I've been running under DX9 since Rubicon went live, even though I've kept my GPU drivers up-to-date, just in case. |

After trying out different video drivers, different settings of graphic quality from the lowest to highest, dx9... Nothing has helped!
I still get the error right before warp finishes or right after it has finished. That is happening flying noctis salvaging my bookmarks. |

I started having a similar problem to this tonight,
AMD Radeon 6700
I hadn't had the same problems as everyone else right after the patch, but it started tonight when, on a whim, I turned back on the camera shake that I hated anyway. Almost as soon as I did, I started crashing out of warp on approach to gates. Having now turned it back off, it isn't doing it anymore.
Try it. Camera shake sucks fedo anyway. |

This is obviously a separate issue - we've not been able to reproduce this inhouse yet and are looking for more info. We don't seem to get any crash dumps for this so we need your help in gaterhing information.
Please file bug reports with as much detail as you can, and attach log files.
See https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Bug_report and https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Log_Server for details.
For the technically savvy among you (I know, pretty much all of you) - if you do get this error - while the dialog is still on the screen, go to task manager and find exefile.exe under Processes, right-click on it and select Create Dump File. Find the file it produced and attach it to the bug report (you may want to zip it up first). |

Made the exefile.exe dump and Logserver files. As dump was huge ~800mb added it to my dropbox together with Logserver files. Sent to CCP Snorlax, hope this helps. |

I sent you a mail with a link for all the relevant data: Unfortunately, because I was filing the report I lost my ship :( It would be cool, if that kill could be undone. I added the KM-link to the mail and sent it as well.
Best wishes

Been crashing all the time for the last few days (can't remember if the patch that did it came yesterday or the day before... Mostly fly around in the SOE ships. Same c++ runtime crash every time, only when warping.
edit: Tried both dx9 and dx11, turning off AA and lowering every other setting.... No change.

Two ships that causing run time error are stratios and Noctic.. Rest of the classic ships are working.
These crashes are getting frustrating. Stratios crashes when I do warping ether before or after the sequence.
The noctis While I'm using salvagers and tractor beams random crash. GÇ£If you're very very stupid? How can you possibly realize you're very very stupid?

I can confirm that this seems to be very repeatable and tied to the Stratios in my case... Seems to happen every few warps with the Stratios... Don't have access to a Noctis to try that. |

Seems the Noctis and Stratios have something in common. Both have rotating Hull modules. I wonder if that is causing the driver glitch in warp etc.
I didn't see a fix in todays patch going to test the stratios and noctis... Crossing my fingers. GÇ£If you're very very stupid? How can you possibly realize you're very very stupid?
