Undocking an Orca in high sec, click to align to gate and I get launched at 900m/s away from the station, before I got to far away I dock back up to try it again and same thing happens. I guess they changed the station model and the new model now has some kind of interference right at the undock. Didn't affect a Mach but it makes a mess of an Orca's align time, waiting for it to get back to 0 so you can align and warp takes forever.
I guess we can really call it station bumping now since it's the station that's bumping you.
Amarr type station in Palas if I remember right.

We are aware of collision issues at the undock point of a few stations (mostly Amarr). It would still be great, if you could write a bug report with the exact location or station type to be sure that we are not missing one. Sorry about that, we recruited a few stations to the Minerbumping cause, and it looks like you encountered one of the more enthusiastic ones. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content. If you want to mine in highsec outside rookie systems, obey the New Haliama Code of Conduct or else the New Order will gank you. www.minerbumping.com for more info. |

Bug reports were not working earlier today when it happened, I will try to submit one tomorrow when I'm back in the game.
Still, it's a kind of funny effect.

Best thing to do at this point is to set up those handy insta-undock BMs, or what ever they are called nowadays. Yes, it's tedious work, but well worth it in the long run. Just be sure and setup the BM an extra 10-20km further out than 150km (200km is good enough). Even if the BM is 150km from station, you will actually be closer than that to BM when you undock. Using the tactical overlay can be helpful in making sure the BM is properly aligned with the direction of undock. |

I have submitted a bug report (Bug reports working today) and hope that takes care of it.
And to the BM comments above, of course having an insta-undock BM is a 'must have' at every station you frequent, and every market hub. Having one for a random station that you have never visited is not ideal. Ideal would be to not have a collision object Bug that accelerates an Orca to unreasonable speeds. Then all you need to do is to reverse pulse MWD then pulse MWD again and warp (Orca piloting for dummies).
