I live in a C4-C4 and my static leads to a C4-C4 which static leads right back into my own C4. There isn't any any other k162's so basically, I'm completely isolated from k-space, and any other space for that matter. True unknown space style and a bear heaven. Guess I can't do an ammo run. Literally.
Anyone else had this happen to them? |

Yes, it happens. No need to panic, just collapse your static. |

Anyone else had this happen to them? Welcome to hell. There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency. |

I was not aware Bob blessed people with relative safety, I always thought he was a deity of "gud fites" and "orca collapser w/ no scout"
I gotta say, it's quite surreal to feel this safe... Maybe Bob is just leading up to the BOOM K162 OCCURS WHEN MOST INCONVENIENT. |

Bob would never do that! My opinions are not my own. They come from the consensus of my corp. So, suck it. |

Never had that happen, but given how c4s work I'd be surprised if it didn't happen occasionally.
One time we had our static go to the same system 2 days in a row. Got kills on the same corp both days. Praise Bob! I know violence isn't the answer. I got it wrong on purpose. |

When I lived with our C2 training corp, we one day had a roaming C2/C5 hole show up in our home. Exploration of that C5 found it was a C5 with a C2 static. The C2 static opened back into our home wormhole. It was a very odd little closed-loop. |

Yes and if you warp really fast, you can gank yourself on the hole you jumped through. But this may cause a "wormhole inception event" where you may become your own grandpa.

Odds are low but it does happen. It actually used to be possible for a WH to have itself as its static (CCRES had this way back in their C6>C6, couldnt go anywhere). Was fixed a while ago now but I've seen a few closed loops. Stuck In Here With Me:-á http://sihwm.blogspot.com.au/ |

So, this is how we know that k162 do not show until you warp to the hole on the other side. My opinions are not my own. They come from the consensus of my corp. So, suck it. |

We had a loop like this once, which was mostly just entertaining (we did some races to see who could get through the loop fastest if memory serves).
The one thing I DID learn as the IT guy is that most mapping tools don't handle loops very well (not sure about Siggy, its the only one I haven't tried).
