How bout you not disable MWD's in missions.
I'm completely frustrated now. I got an MWD in my thorax to help me expedite the numerous cans i have to spend looting after each engagement, only to find that "mysterious enviromental effects" are disabling my MWD.
When the dev's play this game, do they not get sick of looting cans? Or do they just not loot cans because they have access to anything they want anyways?
And yeah..I'm a little annoyed right now.

Yeah, it only says, quite clearly, that MWDs don't work in deadspace.
How about we just get rid of MWDs, and make all ships 300% faster? Same effect as removing the only downside to MWD.

If i put an MWD in my slot i'm giving up a slot for that (and 25% capacitor capacity). I don't quite understand your logic in suggesting all ships speed be raised 300%.
I thought I had found something that would help me with the amazingly tedious job of collecting loot cans. I'm not sure why they decided not to allow MWD's in Dead space. I'm just really really tired of chasing cans.

To me, MWDs not working in deadspace means ships going into deadspaces will favor long range setups compared to short range. I would even be down for MWDs working but being "nerfed" as in they go faster than an AB but still slower then a MWD in regular space. like maybe a third of the way between a 1MN AB and 1MN MWD speed difference, so maybe a MWD in deadspace will go 225% faster or so?

You know, if people were using MWD's in dead space to gank the NPC's from long range...
Why not make the NPC's AI smarter instead of NERFING the human.
As for the tractor beam suggestion, well I can't afford the slot because I have to fight the NPC horde at close range without my MWD.
As for the tractor beam suggestion I don't have Science 4 trained.

There's no nerf here. You just don't want to take the time to collect loot.
Bounties, mission rewards, and bonuses are what you get for mission running. Loot is an extra cookie. You take the time, you get the cookies.

They made MWD unusable in deadspace because people were using it to gain range on NPC pirates. That is a nerf.
If you feel that flying around picking up cans for 30 minutes after every 15 minute battle is a necessary part of the game then we have to just agree to disagree.

My only answer to that is Afterburner.
While not giving you the speed that MWD does, it still gives you a significant boost that is a lot more than your basic speed.

Fair enough. I stand corrected. In my defence tho, they did that before I started playing Eve so for me it's always been that way.

Agreed...sort of. Except in the majority of missions and all of the gate/belt ratting it isn't "necessary" to collect loot. It's just the icing on the cake. If you want it, work for it. I guess this is where you and I disagree. I don't mind working for that extra reward.

Because of dual MWD/AB setups. Which were nerfed.
