Rather then having TWO machine running a copy of eve online, I would actually purchase a second character if I could run split screen.
With ONE button I can pick my main or my alt to go full screen again.
Basically I don't want to have to run 2 machines just so I can utilize the power of two.
I can always use a second character for "something" but not being able to run both through ONE interface is keeping me from getting another toon.
Is this by design? |

then how about instead of running 1 client in fullscreen, you run 2 in windowed mode and either use dual monitors or alttab between the two clients... it's not hard you know... |

This feature already exists. Just run two clients in window mode and size each window appropriately. - Mission Overhaul - Bridging the PVP / PVE Gap - -áIf the game stops teaching people to fear lowsec, maybe people will start going there? |

more to the pile on lol...
really big monitor, windowed mode.
I find giving the more active one some more screen real estate and the less vital one a smaller window works nice. Like if pve'ing on one char and the other is making a hauling run. Hauler doesn't need all the bells and whistles so they get a smaller window if need be. |

I wish but I'm on a laptop, I have very little real estate. |

External monitors exist for a reason. Plug it in, extend desktop, run 2 clients windowed, move 2nd client to extended desktop on external monitor. ...? Profit! |

If you have little scree real estate then why are you asking for split screen? Whats the difference between that and two windowed mode appropriately-sized clients? This.
When away from the house and the t-bolt display i use the native display of my 15" Late 11 MBP. Like i said above make the less active/vital instance a smaller window.
Or layer/stagger windows and jsut bounce around them to make them active as needed. Layering windows your best option here. If a windows laptop you should have comparable screen res to make this work. At least on 15". 13" well....space will be tight but its 13 ". I would not even run an office app or text editor/ide full tme use on 13" tbh. But my eyes are getting old along with the rest of me so I wrote them off way back lol. |

Doesn't eve prevent you from running two clients though? Was this fixed? I don't want to install eve twice, and have to configure my overview twice and constantly download the same game twice. |

Even on a Laptop you should be able to press Alt+TAb to pass between clients when two or more are running at the same time.
Sometimes adjusting the graphics level helps, unchecking the 'drone models' checkbox will help you greatly.

Make it possible to resize the Eve Client Window to a smaller size so indeed two clients, or even three clients, can be viewed on a small monitor. Now you have to have like a 24" monitor to run two clients with both viewable. |

the interface does get cluttered quickly on a 17" laptop screen at 1920x1080. Maybe the UI needs customization options also. |
