Can you dock dreadnoughts, carriers, motherships etc at NPC stations in the same way you can dock everything else?

i believe so, yes.
The only capital ship which is unable to dock is a titan.

motherships and titans can not dock, and can not be built in stations, can ntherefore not appear on the market or be insured.

Ouch! Lucky they're immune to EW then. Where does a titan go when you log out?

It warps 1,000,000 KM from where you logged, then sits there in space. Just like any other ship....
I think...

Immune to EW does not mean immune to warp inhibitor fields from mobile warp disruptors or interdiction spheres.
When logging out while piloting a mothership or titan, they behave like any other ship, they will try to warp off and disappear after the timer runs out.
Leaving a mothership or titan to fly another ship will leave it in space for anyone to grab or shoot (if they want/can) who can find it. So better get a safe haven for those beauties if you intend to fly something else for a while.

Pardon the simple question, as I just recently started flying a cruiser class vessel, but what's a mothership? At first I was under the impression that motherships were titans, and then that they were carriers, but I can't seem to find a "mothership class" ship in the item database... It's peaked my curiosity, so I figured I'd ask. ^^

Mother ships are listed under carriers. There are 2 carriers for each race. The small one that everyone refers to as the carrier and the large one is the mothership.
