I reckon all you people calling for longer trails are just trying to compensate for something.
The old trails were rediculous. These ones look about right (although they're still completely at odds with what expanding gases actually do in a vacuum). |

Red nebula is boring. Assuming this is nebula from Etherium Reach or Kalevala Expanse, I hope devs can turn it with the blue side. Red planet on blue background will look gorgeous. |

you people are all nuts, that video has the same engine effects as on sisi and TQ right now. if you fly really close to engines there is a tail. There has always been a tail.
For proof look at the frigate, it just has engines. There is no trail behind it at all.
How/why are we talking about a video made with the current engine about a feature that isn't even in said video? you guys are seriously losing it.
I think you jut want a chance to whine about anything, so just becuase the ship flys across the camera, and you're almost reminded of engine trails, you get all upset or something.
hell I'm pretty sure that thoraxe doesn't even have the new textures on it. This is just a TQ mock up. clam down. |

i just watched the new version, with the heroic music. I have to say, if the flying frigates were omitted, but keep the station occluding the star, it would be pretty great.
Though, I think the Empyrean Age login music added to what I said above would be epic. That music defined EVE for me. So it goes. |

If this is a work in progress for the new crucible login, I feel isn't up to pare with the earlier login screens. I think CCP could awe us with better so they got lots of time to work it out. not too sure how I feel about the music, though.
I think the quantum rise login music is the best to date. I kind of wish ccp would have done something close to this for winter's login.
