k thats pretty crappy a few points
highs are fine you might want to drop the nos as your having grid problems
shield extenders with an armour tank are very bad try a cap recharger in that slot
you have no resistances swap the 3 400 plates (you don't need the hp they are giving you with good resists) for 3 active hardeners (passive if you run into cpu problems) and with less grid used you should be able to swap the rcu + pdu for 2 cap relays

The prophecy is a beam boat, for PvP pulses work but for NPCing beams work much faster in missions. This was my old setup for the prophecy(used it a month ago before I got into a zealot) for level 4 missions.
5x Heavy Beam Lasers best named(multi, standard, and radio) 1x Arbalest Rocket Launcher(rat specific rockest)
1x 10mn Afterburner II(or tech I/named) 1x Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor(90% web) 1x Cap Recharger I(or best named)
1x Medium Armor Repairer II(very essential) 2x Armor Hardeners(NPC specific) 1x Capacitor Power Relay 2x Heat Sink II(if you have trouble with your capacitor switch one to another CPR)
5 light drones --- Wolven Elite Guard - Currently recruiting |

Edited by: DarkElf on 16/04/2006 15:57:37 Edited by: DarkElf on 16/04/2006 15:57:02 When i used a proph for ratting and missions i used a setup pretty much the same as the last post. i swapped the launcher for a tractor beam cos i'm lazy. wouldn't use a web with beams as my optimal range was 15km. less than 10km and u'll struggle to hit. if using pulse then go with web. if not i'd say cap recharger. in lows using plates only delay u dying where as hardeners can prevent it. i very rarely use plates these days tbh. just remember to get the right hardeners for the rats :) but yeah previous setup is good (been a while since i've used 1 tho.

I have this setup: 6x Focused Medium Pulse Lasers T2 1x Medium Nos
1x MWD 1x X5 webber 1x Cap recharger
1x med armor repper 1x adaptive nano 1x Sansha Reactive energised plating 2x Tracking enhancers
3xWarrior I:s 1xHammerhead I
With this i can hit pretty much everything and ive been able take out two Sansha BS spawns once altough that might¦ve been luck

I used to run:
6 Heavy Pulse IIs, Named Nos ABII, X5 Webber, Eutetic Cap Med AR II, 3x EAN II, PDU II and a HS II if i recall.
Drones mixed for flavor as required. Get your armor compensation skills up and it tanks very nicely, don't plate it, its already _very_ clumsy.

This set uip works well, i managed 2 950K Bs and a 7 mil trues sansha with not to much trouble. My BC skill is at 3.
High 2 Heavy Anodes (Inaf, Ultra, Multi) 3 Focused Heavy Pulse (same crystals) 1 Heavy Missle (malkuth) 1 Tractor Beam
Med Barton Cap Charger or Euctiec (18% Cap Charge) Medium Cap Charges (400's or 800's) Web 90%
Low Medium T2 Armor Small T2 Armor N-type thermic active N-type Em Active plate either a Cap relay or Type_d power mod (cannt remeber which one, whatever fits) 800MM Nanor or Cryst
For smaller spawns i take off the small t2 armor repair and use a thermal exhaust (named).
Drones 2 medium & 1 small (em damage)
Yes it uses a lot of cap charges to keep the tank going, but who cares nearly everything drops them.

For agent missions, I'd strongly suggest beams over pulses. You can't use MWD's in deadspace, which makes it difficult for the already sluggish Prophecy to get in close. And I've found that beams track well enough at short ranges when the target is webbed. At long range, it's no contest.
Pulses are probably more viable against battleships as you can dictate the range against slower targets. Never done 0.0 ratting myself though, so just guessing.

I only have like 2mill Sp of what 1.2mill are in gunnery. So I am not very good with tech2 equipment yet. According to the setups others have posted here I built mine. And it is as follows :
5 x Heavy Beam Laser I (radio for range + multi for low range and damage) Malkuth Heavy launcher (Havocs)
10mn Afterburner Langour Drive distruptor (78.75% web) Cap recharger I
Medium Repper II Damage control I (+10% armor and 7.5% shield resistances) Energized adaptive nano membrane (-15% resistance) 2 x Cap power relay I Reactor control unit
Stats with these (damage control active) and my skills are : Shield 2188 (EM 7.5%, Explosive 63%, Kinetic 44.5%, Thermal 26%) Armor 3750 (EM 71%, Explosive 42%, Kinetic 45%, Thermal 53%) Structure 3375 (50% all)
Capacitor 2475 with recharge time of 261secs.
Turret tracking speed 0.041.
I am quite happy with this setup, only made lvl 2 missions yet tho. The only problem I have is that I run low on CAP (with repper, guns, AB and damage control ON) in larger conflicts like Tech Secrets. I can safely handle it with two jump outs (thanks to the stabbers) but it proves the tanking ability of my setup is quite weak.
I have thought of upgrading the beams to Heavy anopde particle stream that would raise my damage and lower my cap use when firing. Also I am studying to upgrade the charger to Cap Recharger II. I believe these will help but it isn't big step still..
So, how should I move on? What to switch and to what? Thinking of active resistance modules that I would switch according to enemy but I would prefer a setup that handles everything well. Or is Prophecy just a ship that requires high skills (current BC skill lvl 1).

I did lvl 3 in my proph a while back.
Hi:
6x focused beams, when you get to t2 ammo you get over 50km range out of them
Mid:
Webber,2x cap rechargers
Low:
Medium armor rep 2x EAN 3x active hardeners
5x acolyte drones, they are the fastest, good for NPCing
The tank should give you over 70% resis on all with minimum skills even.
The lasers hit well at all ranges, and you got the drones and webber for the really close in work.
Its a neat setup able to do most lvl 3 missions. Can easily be made into an awesome pvp setup with a few modifications.

Warriors have higher speed, higher tracking *and* an higher damagemod.
Even vs Blood/Sanshas acolytes are crap, hobs are better there.

Darn it, all the acos have goign for them is a little bit of armour over the warriors.
How emberassing. Everyting amarrian is just a big chunk of armour with little in it.
its so ill concieved.
I mean, how could an armor increase of 25% (120 to 96) ON A DRONE possibly justife an inferiority in all other relevant stats ??
It is the same with certain amarrian ships btw.
The devs should finally realize that firepower >>>>>> defense anytime. That is the real reason for amrrian whinage btw.

I don't see how most of these setups can sustain their cap. I've run several of them through QuickFit, and most of these peter out at 2 mins of combat.
For missions, I'd bet a projectile based Prophecy ends up better.

Well here is a static setup that I used for ratting Blood NPC's
High 6x Heavy Pulse 2's
Mid named AB 2x cap recharger
Low MAR2 2x therm hard EM hard 2x Cpr's
this works for the small/mid 0.0 encounters but now I need to move it up a level for bigger rats... any ideas would be welcome thanks

Ok, haven't tried this in 0.0 yet. For all level 3s it has been just fine. No warp outs. I got this setup from the ship setup thread above.
Highs 6xHeavy Beam II
Mids Webber (not really needed) 2xNamed Rechargers
Lows MARII, 3xRat specific Hardeners, HSII, PDS I or II
Rat specific Drones
I was a bit skeptical about the set up with out the cap recharging fast, however, over all I am pleased with the setup.

I just got my prophecy today (I'm at 1 million SP), and this is what I got on it:
High: 6x Heavy Pulses I 1x heavy launcher I
Med: 1x AB I 1x X5 web 1x Cap Recharger I
Low: 1x Cap relay I 1x 400 mm plate I 1x Medium repper II 1x Tracking Enhancer I 1x Energized adaptive nano plating I 1x PDS I
works well so far, havent gotten into testing it properly, but its almost the same as I used on my omen, and I owned level 2's with it ..

I like the Prophecy - used one for a long time in missions and PvP. My set-up for missions is: 6 x heavy beam tech2's plus tech 2 crystals. 1 x tech2 missile launcher target comp tech 2, web and cap recharger (named) 2 hardeners, 1 med rep tech 2, 1 heat sink tech 2, 2 cap rechargers. 5 small drones. Good tank - endless (with good skills and 2 hardeners you have high resists) Reasonable fire power (enough for 2 BS spawns when ratting, or level 3 or some level 4 missions) For salvaging replace missile launcher with salvager.

6x Focused Medium Pulse Laser (Named) 1x E50 Prototype Energy Vampire
1x 10MN AB II (Better for ratting, MWD for PvP) 1x X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator 1x Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I
2x Medium Armor Repairer II 2x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I (or specific hardners) 2x Heat Sink II

Edited by: Korpiklaani on 19/02/2007 09:31:33 Ok - Because im amarr , and in a prophecy , and consequently in greater wildlands ( all Angel ) , I had to adapt - this is my build that I have found to work really well . specifically for angels.
High's --- 6x 220mm VulcanAutocannon I's - Fusion M 1x Arbalest Standard Missile Launcher - Piranha Light Missiles Mediums --- 10mn ABII X5 Webber Cap Recharger II Low's --- 1 Medium Armor Repairer 2 Ntype Explosive Hardeners 1 Ntype Thermic Hardener 2 Named Gyrostabilizers
Using this build with only 1.9 million SP ( quite low ) and almost no T2 stuff ( as seen )
Fitting Ended up as followed - this is with no Rigs CPU 360.75/420.50 PowerGrid 820.00/1495.00
I engaged 3 Destroyers and 2 Battleships and didnt warp out once and I never even entered armor with this build. the guns really rip up the ships
Skills of Importance in this are Medium Projectile 3 Motion Prediction 3 Mechanic 3 Engineering 3 Hull Upgrades 4 Missile Launcher Operation 2 Standard Missile 3
with this - I will obviously be fitting an assault missile launcher on it eventually or a heavy missile launcher. and with Rigs it could probably even be made more pwnsauce.
I tried this almost exact same thing with 425mm's but - the 220's seem to work ALOT better.
hope this helps out any low SP char Amarr's that are stuck in the same or similar situation as myself

ok I tested out a new build that is as effective, if not more than the autocannons - its ESPECIALLY good if your with a partner. in my case was with a drake.
Highs - 6x 650mm named artillery 1x Heavy Missile Launcher Med's - 10mn ABII 90% Webber Cap Recharger II Low's - Medium Armor Rep I ( soon to be II ) 3x Armor Ntype Hardeners Gyrostabilizer 1x Capacitor Relay Rigs - 10% Powergrid+
all resistances 60+ CPU - 367/402 Powergrid - 1511/1644

For nubs like me, this setup is pretty good at drone killing on the cheap, with 2M sp:
High 5x Focused Medium Pulse I (multi 95% of the time) 2x Named Med Nos I
Med 10MN AB 1x Crap Webber 1x Cap Recharger I Low 1x Med Repper II 1x Named DCU I 1x EANM I 1x Named Power Relay I 2x Radioisotope Hardener I (your pick on dmg type, explosive being the most common I think?)
Drones 5x Hobgoblin I
With BC3 and each of the Armor Compensation skills at 3, I get around 75% resists across the board while hardeners active and my cap is stable on 3BS 3Cru/Frig spawns without a problem. Orbits of 4200 while webbing BS seems fantastic, as at 170m/s it hovers pretty consistently around 4500m, where most BS can't hit you.

Right, this is what I used to use for ratting Sanshas.
6 x Heavy Pulse 1 x Assault Launcher (usually bloodclaws or whatever the explosive ones are)
1 x AB 1 x Web 1 x Cap Recharger (euctectic is pretty much a must)
1 x Energised Reflective Membrane 1 x Armor Thermic Hardener 1 x MAR II 1 x CPR 2 x HS II (If your cap skills suck, fit two CPR and one HS II).
5 x Hobgoblin II
Tech 2 tanking gear helps a lot with this setup, and it's not hard to get (it's one two week skill, which is annoying but gets you /all/ the gear.) Used to be able to kill anything, up to and including dual/triple BS spawns.

How in the world do you fit 6 heavy beam tech II'S ? There is only a max of ~1650pg (engV) on a prophecy, but the tech 2 heavy beams are 275 pg. Even with Adv. weapon upgrades at lvl 5 you still won't have enough PG for 6 of those beams. Could you please explain?

I run a similar setup, fit's fine with advanced weapon upgrades 4,cept I drop the launcher for a cloak.
