The station's ship hangar has much more dense fog then on the live server (i think the live is ok), and it results the sips moving on the station interior now barely visible. Not sure if this and the light changes are connected? |

Checked every ship with Gogela site. Most of the ships are fine, but some may have problems: Guardian looks very dark (especially in comparison with any other Sarum ship) Capsule looks darker than before and Golden capsule is just broken. Reflections on Manticore, Buzzard. Falcon are unpleasant IMO (maybe not related to this update but still).
Also I have noticed that all Jove ships were removed from client. Is this a build system bug or it was done intentionally (but typeID records are intact)? Those are gone forever?
ps: really nice job with Tristan! -¥ |

10/10 on the Tristan revamp- looks much, much more solid than before. Also seconding several other people's thoughts that the Ishkur should be a T2 Tristan rather than an incursus. |

With this new higher level of detail brought on by the linear lighting system, it becomes clearer than ever that the Hyperion's skin hasn't been updated in quite a long time (as opposed to the Dominix and Megathron) and is thus in even more dire need of attention than ever before.
While the Rokh and the Abaddon (and to a lesser degree the Maelstrom) are all in the same boat (pun not intended) skin-wise, they hide their age much better than the sleek and smooth Hyperion. |

Turrets are too bright/lack depth of colour compared to the ships they're mounted to- this is very glaring on the Punisher currently. |

Linear Lighting! We have implemented our first pass of Linear Lighting on ships. This shows up detail better as well as an increased richness of colour. As it stands, certain users may perceive ships to be darker. We'd like to emphasize that this first implementation of linear lighting is the first step in overhauling our lighting system and this darkening is an issue that we are actively seeking to resolve with further improvements to the lighting system and thus should be treated as a temporary change. Despite this, we would really like to hear about any ships that you consider to be too dark so please post here or submit a bug report. i only checked a few ships i had in the hangar but i think vengeance, heretic are probably too dark. If you compare them to ships with similar paint schemes like nomen or slicer, you notice that they changed a lot between TQ and SISI, where the slicer looks almost identical.
Some ships also became very glossy/oily looking which make them look less realistic and more like toon shaded toys made out of rubber or plastic. I hope this wasn't a design decision. eve style bounties (done) dust boarding parties imagine there is war and everybody cloaks - join FW |

WHAT???? Mine's updating now (albeit very slowly)- if the Jove ships are GONE gone, I'll be devastated! i have them in my bio so I can look at them all the time!! I have seen the new colour scheme on the Orca, I do not like it. It's a lovely blue hue right now. It will have large yellow patches in the next iteration.
All of this started with the runt of the litter, the Venture.
The next step will be 'Caterpillar' instead of 'Ore' on the hull, to properly reflect corporate sponsoring.
Keep the Orca blue! |

I was able to pop on the server for a brief moment last night. I noticed that station hangars appear foggy and muted with the initial pass. Obviously a bug. |

Seeing as I'm in a pod and use camera drones to "see", putting the bridge deep within the ship wouldn't be a problem. |

Dear CCP, please, with cherry on top, do not remove jove ship from player access. We already had a big GÇ£jove changeGÇ¥ when CCP change the jove devs portrait to normal races, without any announcement. Please, do not nerf Jove race again. Even without any real fact, the jove race are still a big part of the game. I really in the hope of a bug, and not a intentionally decision. |

The new lighting seems to have mixed results.
Older ships like the Moa look even worse. The textures look horrible. The ability of the newer system to bring out details does it no favors. Newer ships like those Tash-Murkon editions look great. I can post on a forum, therefore I represent everyone.

Shadows are rendering with what looks like lag the jumps between renders on structures is very large.
POCOS at first planets still have the lighter/shinier side toward the planet. planet 1 in 6-c should have a lot more light sun side then it does now.
Is the in space rendering different now then in the hanger now or are they running the same tech now?
Moa looked okay the space camouflage like on the navy scorp looks bad however. If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

Looking at the poco again the sun brightness is on the right side the contrast in light to dark loosed a lot of the detail on the far side as you are aware.
A lot of the new graphics require the reflective sheen on surfaces to make them pop and with the light change you loose a lot of that. If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide
