Try using them as Tacklers+Vampires, HAC resists, great rep rate+vampire and you can speed boost them, scares the hell out of people.

Lame? Fun! You just have to *make* it fun.
We tried Caracal + Scimitar vs. Silence the Informant IV. We wiped stage 1, but uh, we *cough* *cough* ran out of time for stage 2 (and that's a bit lame all right - will have to try again).
Other memorable moments with a Scimitar include a Gurista's Strike lvl 3, mission 10 of 10, last stage, aggroing the two bonus fleets (one after the other) in a Claw shield boosted by a Scimitar. We needed some extra fire power however - killing Navy Megathrons with an interceptor is more than I'm able to.
Those things can really remote SHIELD BOOST!

Cyclone + Basilisk=ability to do any lvl 4 mission except Worlds Collide. Extravaganza and Silence the Informant missions are a bit hairy, and require very close timing so that the Basilisk can avoid the aggro but still boost the Cyclone in time to save it from the initial hammering of the first stage fleets. Love the log ships, especially the Bas and the Oneiros. A Basilisk with a 25 or 35m3 drone bay would be absolutely perfect. But every ship is supposed to be short on something.

In any other MMOGs it's almost unheard of not to take a cleric along to heal.

If it's fun, do it.
I use a T2 fitted Apoc for lvl 3. It's fun with a minor occasional fear of destruction. Perfect for relaxing -- (Battle hardened miner)

I can run any Level 4 easy with an osprey boosting my raven, even the Worlds Collide 4 is a piece of p***.
You just need to be carefull as the osprey is paper thin, and the xl booster on the raven is always there for emergencies

What required modules would you put on the Osprey in that circumstance?

Easy, pretty much the same things you'd fit the Basilisk with, i'm using an osprey for support at the moment, 2 named med shield trasporters, 1 cap transfer and 1 armour rep, this is a general fit for all seasons, and either 4 armour or 4 shield drones. 1x invul field just in case i have to warp out and get targeted and cap chargers in the rest with cap power relays in the lows (not cap fluxs)
This is a one stop repair shop purely for support, but does its job very nicely without costing 30 mill nor having to buy the 25 mill logistics book.
