Anywhere but highsec or autopilot routes.
Get into lowsec and npc null off the main transport pipes and you'll find less populated systems with more variety and value. eve-bazaar - I'm not associated with them, but support it as a worthwhile service |

There are off the beaten path high sec systems with plenty of stuff to scan and isk to be made. I'm not saying don't go to low/null, but the manta of "high sec sucks" in regards to cosmic signatures is overplayed and shallow. |

Open dotlan go to region map select jumps / npc kills / ship kills data this should find you the quiet systems where you will die less / signatures build up
and yes, money is much better in low and even better in 0.0

Paranoid or truthful? You pick.
1.) Low/null is dangerous. If you are not blued up with the right people, especially. 2.) Not all are out to gank explorers, but most will try. 3.) You scan people down in low/null and warp to them just to say hi? Does "go say hello" mean "ram a missile up their ass"? 4.) Your explo alt has never been attacked, congrats. And you take this to mean no one will attack an explorer ever? 5.) Cloaky ganks will scan down relic/data sites and wait for explorers to come in, get the loot, then uncloak and shoot them. But, you knew all this already. |

The OP asked a question and I made a suggestion. That's all there was too it. It actually was a useful suggestion because there are good sites to be found in lowsec and nullsec. There is less competition from other explorers and the loot can be better than highsec.
This doesn't need to be turned into something it isn't and how to explore safely in lowsec and nullsec is a separate question, which I'm more than happy to help the OP with if he asks.
In relation to missiles, I would never. Disgusting things really. I much prefer blasters. eve-bazaar - I'm not associated with them, but support it as a worthwhile service |

Yea and, you die, you go get a new ship. Not the end of the world.
Stay out busy systems like I said. If you're still a newb hacker, go to one of the lowsec ghost towns like Aradia or lowsec Solitude or somewhere. |

Am I not allowed my opinion or something?
1.) There are good sites to be found in every security system. You can find a veritable land of plenty in high sec just like in low sec. You just gotta look. Am I telling him to stay out of low/null? Absolutely not. He can do what he pleases, I am just letting him know how neut exploring will be in sov space, based off of my experiences and others. 2.) Less competition because sov belongs to certain people. The people who live out there farm those sites every day, and yes, it adds up to a hefty sum. If you try and run "their" sites, be prepared. (Side note: The best loot I've ever gotten was in high sec, and that's true for others I know, but those are perhaps exceptions...or maybe not). 3.) Thank you for telling me your weapon of choice. |

I highly suggest doing hacking sites in Null or lowsec. I started in HS for a while to get the hang of probing and the hacking mini game and started exploring in lowsec soon after, much more profitable. It's also not really that dangerous, I found a HS to Null WH the other day and spent 5 hours just jumping around and scanning stuff and came away with 150mil. During the trip I found 3 more null to null wormholes and ended up poking around half of nullsec (felt like it anyway). I saw around 10 people total in local during the trip.
Not only is it more profitable, but it actually FEELS like exploring, high sec is crowded and feels much too "lived in". Hell, jump into a wormhole and scan down a chain and enjoy the view, I'm surprised at how much I enjoy exploration in EVE, has a kind of zen feel to it. You will eventually run into trouble, but you know what? Even a fully fit, Covert ops is worth only around 30 mil isk. That's like half the value of a decent lowsec relic site. Go make bank in a T1 exploration frigate, train up your scanning skills and get into a covops and go poke around New Eden. Exploration doesn't just mean making ISK with hacking sites/combat sites, it means exploring. I'd make much more ISK if I stopped looking at all the pretty nebula. |

Go to a quieter NPC null area, learn how to safely travel in null, cargo scan the cans to find valueable loot, profit.
You don't need any blues what so ever so disregard that misinformation. Yes you will die at some point, how much depends on how alert you are, watch local and check d-scan. You can replace a cov-ops frig with the proceeds of just a few sites in null so it's no big deal. |

I'd even love it if you had some reading comprehension to go along with it. That way, next time you want to attack someone and claim they were only giving a response in order to setup an easy gank, you can do it for a real reason and not a totally unprovoked one.
If you can find anywhere in my original post where I discussed sov null, then I offer my apology now. If you can't then as an alternative, let me know which systems you are likely to be in for the next couple of days. That will save me a trip to a locator agent. I've never ganked anyone in highsec before, so I hope I don't enjoy it too much. eve-bazaar - I'm not associated with them, but support it as a worthwhile service |

NPC null can be a ghost town at times with maybe 1 or 2 pilots in system. Relic sites in null profit range from 60 to 100 mill per site. Never listen to anyone in EVE that's tells you don't do anything and never go anywhere. Only noobs say suchs things. Like previously stated look at the map menu and set settings to kills per system and pilots per system you will be surprised to find that there will be more high sec kills and pilots in system that day then in NPC null. And TBH NPC null has some pretty friendly explorers like yourself that will to chat you up in local and share sites as well. Not all all EVE players are griefers. |

The richer you are the more stuff you buy that I build. The more ships you have the more you can lose said ships that I also build. The more fun you have the more you tell your friends to play and the more stuff they buy ,sell, and have to replace. You see how this economy works? |
