Hi,
When I try to reprocess a dominix, the mineral values that it puts out are not even close to the amount of minerals that go in it. This is different for a Rokh, which is somewhat adequate.
My idea is that these reprocessing numbers weren't updated when the ships got their new mineral requirements a couple of months back. I can also see that this could be by design, because you didn't want to "create" minerals out of thin air.
However, it is fairly annoying now and a huge mineral sink compared to other battleships. Can someone tell me if these numbers are as intended?

As intended for the reason you stated, avoiding minerals from thin air -- |

Its intended. yes its to keep minerals from coming out of thin air. As you've been able to tell, reprocessing a dominix is a fairly stupid thing to do. So no one does it. So its not a mineral sink. Nobody is doing it because it is a sink ;) It's still an unhealthy situation which should be corrected at one point or another. I think we've been going long enough now since the changes that this situation could be changed to "normal" reprocessing rates without ******* up mineral markets. |

Maybe. Certainly Domis have been dying in fairly large numbers. But not so much on the majority of ships that would need reversion. Give it a few years. |

Domi, like many other ships now, have their mineral requirement divided into normal materials and extra materials. Normal are returned upon reprocessing (subject to your effectiveness), extra materials are not.
The rebalanced T1 ships are not the only place where extra materials show up. |

lol, the dominix is one of the few ships that are actually profitable and a good idea to build right now :D

Sure, it should be corrected eventually. It would be nice to reprocess domis at some point. But its not particularly important. Well, it is. With the coming patch, there's a change in doctrines coming up in null. This happens every now and then, meta's change all the time. It would be easier to just reprocess the existing ships-of-the-line and build the new ones locally from those materials + 3-4 million for additional minerals to fit the bill per battleship (and rigs ofcourse). Now we have to truck in boatloads of new ships, which is a logistical nightmare not to mention the cost. |

I would stop building them now imo, the drone assist nurf has changed the meta back to turret alpha. |

Huh. When you put it that way....
Well, when you put it that way I hope the extras never, ever get removed and we keep the mineral sink forever. |

Efficiency m8, not going to sponsor highsec by getting new stuff if I can reuse the existing ships and save a lot of isk and (foremost) effort by just building what I need in null. |
