Combat tips: The secure container one you already said. Nice for sniping setups in low sec, too. Ever wanted a sniper with a good tank? :D
Damage Control Modules. I used to say these weren't worth it on an armour tank but then I tested them. It turns out they don't get hit with the stacking penalty, making a good named one better than an adaptive nano II if you already have 2 hardeners that give the same resistances running like 2 adaptive nanos.
There are others but they are my secrets :). I can get a two-ship pair to tank 46k damage to two damage types per second. That's ten times more than a 10/10 complex will ever throw at you. To put that into perspective, I can tank a titan superweapon going off every SECOND and its guns. The support ship, of course, does not have that same luxuty but I'm sure I can work something out with a more moderate tank that could be solod.
Industrial tips: On POS, you can fit more onto those things than you think. If you station an alt there and replace some silos with two linked coupling arrays, they will hold 30 hours of product and you can use your alt to refill it from a corp array every day in a matter of minutes.
Some people think they're lowering costs if they mine minerals to make into things themselves. These people will sell their end product for less than the minerals cost just to beat the lowest price on the market. Know how much the minerals going into each item in eve are worth, buy them all up and refine them, then sell the minerals for instant profit.
In addition to scouting as you said before, you can simply have an alt with a shuttle do the job on the cheap when scouting for a hauler in 0.0. Have a fresh safespot in each system in between the two gates on your haul route and warp to it with the hauler, then cloak. You'll be undetectable and can sit there and outcamp the campers. When the system you're in and the next one ahead are empty, warp using instas and repeat. This is why the safespot must be mid-gate, it allows for using instas without problem. If your scout is destroyed by running into a bubble, it's just a shuttle and a pod (0 isk pod if you're using a crappy alt) that you lose but your hauler will always be 100% safe. Nothing else will stop a shuttle with instas.
There are more, I'll post them as I remember them.

I could win this but revealing my secrets is not worth the prize.

Preferrably a neutral. Throws people off a bit.
Actually, my favourite one in that regard is having a shuttle with your name ("Nyphur's Shuttle") about 0.1AU from your safespot and then naming all of your ships that can't cloak something like "Leave at POS plz" and safespot. If they scan, they'll see your shuttle and assume it's you and ignore the ship that's supposedly at a POS. It's probably worked a few times for me.

Originally by: Vishnej The other is a more secret tactic that removes the need to make freighter runs at all, which lets you take 450k m3 from the farthest south system in the game to the farthest north system in the game safely in half an hour, with the help of alts.
As far as I'm aware, that one is an exploit. It's something like getting practically infinite cargo space in a carrier and anyone who does it should be banned.

Actually if you bookmark the can in deadspace, complete the mission and warp back the deadspace will be gone, but your cans are still there. At least something CCP got right.
I would call that something they got wrong. Complexes just vanishing. Pff.

Originally by: Half Normal Maybe an old one, but good one, senior players told me about this one. Haulers, when hauling stuff from mining op or whatever, you can put Giant Secure Containers in your carghold. Giant secures have 3900m3 of space, but they are only 3000m3 in mass. So, if you have cargohold of 9000m, you can put 3 giants in your cargo, but you will have 3x3900m3 =11700m3 cargohold. When you approach container in space from which you are hauling, you simply have to open your cargohold, then open giant secure container in your cargohold and drag stuff in, as usual, then open second giant, then third and so on...
yeah, old one :). Also, you can select all the containers (5 for me) and open all 5 at once with one click. I only found this out yesterday when I tried it out.

That's really interesting. I always wondered why some ships didn't have the "look at" icon available on the overview. I often click around the overview to take a look at cool ships I can't afford!
That's surely got to be a bug though, as there's no logical reason to link stabs and "look at" together in the game.
It's not that stabs are linked to it. It's that you can't look at ships which are currently warping. If they are being scrambled, you will always be able to look at them.

Trick one: When fighting an opponent who totally outclasses you, Invite him to a gang r conversation once every few seconds. :D
Someone in BoB did this for me with my ship to show me how it worked. He did it at an NPC station in Period Basis (when we had access) that I didn't have docking rights at and never gave the ship back :/. At least it was only a vexor ^^;

Doesn't work on secure cans.

Oh. Then that's just clever :D. Or maybe a bug with the ship maintenance bay. Ship maintenance hangers at POS don't let you store anything with stuff in the cargo bay in them.

If at all possible try this.
Initiate warp and as you are picking up speed switch missiles to T2 precision missiles.
Due to the penalty of these missiles they will reduce your max speed. If done correctly your current speed will actually be faster then your new max speed and you will insta warp.
Don't they take 10 seconds to load?

Yes but its all about timing. Plus some ships take a damn long time to warp.
If you have it timed right it helps.
Only do this on the bigger ships.
Sometimes you have to start the switch before you start the warp.
Depends alot on skills and ship so this isn't for everyone.
Then it'd work about the same as using an MWD to kick yourself into warp.
