everytime i sit outside an amarr station and i point my camera towards it i get a huge FPS drop.
this is ONLY with amarr stations, anyone else having this?
my pc is good enough, that should not be the problem, since i dont have any problems with fleetbattles or other stations...
the first guy who tells me to buy new videocard is a noob.

I would advise installing the latest drivers of Nvidia and using it's Nview tool to check if hardware antialias is on. If it is on, disable it. Makes the stations a lot less pretty but I had massive system loads when flying up to Amarr stations with AA x2 or higher. If it is not enabled, then I am out of ideas.

They don't adversely affect my fps, but sometimes the textures flicker and jitter. Not a big deal, but annoying.
Latest nVidia drivers, 7800 GTX, and the rest of my system is tip top. AA and aniso are set to application control, so I don't think that's it.

I get the same thing, but I'm running a radeon 9600, so it's probally not video card related.

yus I have the same problem. 7800 gtx, dell xps 2 Amarr station has real bad texture flickering It's a shame cause everything else is so pretty. I have the same issue on my desktop PC with a 6800 ultra. Protect me O Lord, my boat is so small and your sea is so wide. |

My graphics are currently in a state of commatose and although im running a 9800 pro which may have driver issues, when things are ok i now notice this also, ive never had this problem before, perhaps this is where the driver problem lies. With a 2 week minimum turnaround for a RMA if its none of the above and my card is fried im going for the 24 hr system reboot and new graphics card. CCP be thankfull for addictive personalitites and an uber game :P

I'm running an nVidia 6800 vanilla (eVGA) and I do fine for framerate, but the jitter is there. It's bizarre.
