Standing on the bridge of his new flagship Vice-Admiral Archbishop watched quietly as the crew moved effortlessly among their duties. The preliminary tests and patrols of a new ship were always a time of discovery and familiarization. This was no exception.
The Royal Navy Apocalypse Battleship TES Royal Soverign II. One of the rare Navy Apocalypse class of battleships the beamoth had over 20,000 armor strength and the finest Tech II weaponry. Fitted with the most up to date technology in the way of ECCM and EM the Navy Apocalypse was the epitome of power projecting an image of might throughout the universe.
Still Archbishop viewed it as just another ship. Any ship in service to God and Empire was equal to another in his view. All served the greater good of the Empire and all did without question. From the smallest frigate on patrol to the mighty Royal Navy class Apocalypse and even the legendary Imperial Apocalypse class warships the mission stood forth the same and the crews of these valiant vessels worked tirelessly that one day Gods empire may span the universe.
TES ROYAL SOVERIGN II - ROYAL NAVY CLASS APOCALYPSE BATTLESHIP
Docking in Amarr for the evening the brilliant golden battleship shined beyond the plain hulls of other Apocalypse ships nearby. The ship reflected the light of the nearby docking latform and cast a glow of golden comfort to the entire docking bay.
Leaving the ship escorted by his four Kaimera personal guards and a dozen or so PIE marines the Vice-Admiral headed toward his private apartment. While he didn't live in Amarr he did visit frequently enough to warrant the expense of accomodations there.
Approaching down a long hallway panelled in gold and walnut and open only to Amarrians he stopped at a massive pair of doors. Emblazioned with the golden crest of PIE and Amarr the doors were madeof solid oak and secured with the latest in magnetic locking technology. Reaching in the pocket of his robe he triggered a small remote control and the doors swung open effortlessly.

Entering the small entryway Archbishop laid down the package of documents he was carrying and moved into the Parlour. The small room, a fraction the size of his palour in his main home, was still a comfortable greeting area. He paused at the entryway as the lights failed to come on. This was most mysterious as they should've sensed his entry and illuminated the room automatically.
"LIGHTS" he said loudly but nothing happend. Again he called "LIGHTS" still the room remained pitch black. The Kamiera guards stood on either side of him, weapons raised as they wondered aloud what the problem was, still they seemed curiously relaxed.
"SURPRISE!!!!!" a crowd rang out as the lights came on. There in the room were several hundred PIE officers and friends. Archbishop stood stunned as the crowd moved around him. A slave poured him a glass of wine and handed it to him while others moved around to pat him on the back.
"What is the meaning of this?" he asked. It wasn't his birthday nor anything else he could remember.
"Oh it is a special day my friend" said Admiral Gavin Lok'ri, the CEO of PIE, he moved forward and pinned a small medal on the robe of Archbishop. Looking down the realization hit him as he read the inscription.
TWO YEARS SERVICE
"Congratulations Preacher!" said former PIE Director Ethidium Bromide, holding a glass of wine in one hand, one by one the officers of PIE and other Amarrian loyalist corporations celebrated with him the anniversary. Finally the crowd quieted and Gavin motioned for him to speak to the crowd. He cleared his throat, took a sip of wine, then smiled at the assembled guests.
"Thank you all for coming. I am honored beyond belief. The friendship and loyalty shown by PIE, the Empire and the CVA of which I was once a member is beyond compare, still I am humbled beyond words".
The crowd applauded as he continued.
"Still it is important to remember something. While I am honored to receive this medal and this surprise celebration something much more important should be noted. This is not the true honor" he said putting his hand over the medal.
The crowd grew silent.
"The honor is to serve. For to defend our Emperor, our Empire, our God, what more could any Amarrian ask?".
"The honor is to serve......".
The crowd of friends stood silently in contemplation. Suddenly one Amarrian in the back started applauding, then another, Archbishop joined in as the applause reached a thunderous crescendo. It was not applause for a man or an anniversary. It was applause for Amarr.
Raising his glass high he waited until everyone else did then shouted "TO SERVE!!!!".
As he drank from his crystal glass Archbishop smiled. Here, surrounded by friends and comrades, giving his life to serve the Amarrian Empire and God. What more could there be?

Truly Vice-Admiral, you are example to our people and our glorious Empire. Congratulations for not only the captaincy of the Imperial Navy's finest battleship but also the dedicated service you have provided to the renowned praetorians, well known throughout the Imperial Academy as true heroes.
Although I am but a common slaver, the honor is mine to serve the Light and an Empire defended by loyal pilots like yourself.
If you are ever in need of any slaves my lord, I would be humbled to offer some of my finest stock, free of charge of course. They are all a tough Brutor breed, are honed to carry the heaviest of goods, deft enough to balance the finest of platters and of course, enlightened enough to all follow God's will freely and in silence.
Kind Regards, Sassanan Hadizes Imperial Shipment

You've lasted a long time in the eyes of an Egger, old man.
Although an enemy, congratulations on two years service. It's astounding to see someone so fevourishly devoted to their faith.
Enjoy your celebration.

That's 2 years too long for an Amarr. I'll see that ship destroyed and your corpse claimed before the next 2 years are up!
