I just recalled this song thinking on how does CCP feel about players meeting each other in their CQs...
Qu+¬date a mi lado, No te marches m+ís.
Translation:
Don't look into the eyes of people, I'm afraid of them, they always lie. Do not go outside when there is people, What if you don't come back? What if you get lost? What if you get lost?
Hide in the guests room, alone in the dark, they can't see you. Surely now there will be people in the streets, Somebody looks for you, somebody feels it, somebody feels it.
Stay by me, don't leave again. "We want your help to convince management to develop Incarna into 3rd person shooter dungeon raiding with friendly fire in nullsec space..."

She swears that she may change in the future, that she's got a Plan... but then, I also have got a patience, and it's over.
I know you all will take care of yourselves and EVE will still be there for a long time. So just ask you to try to not break too many things while I'm away.

It was an august morning near dawn I went out to take air in the blooming land
I see a girl crying broken-hearted, mourning 'My heart is broke, for we've lost the laughing boy'
He had a manly courage and eternally I will mourn His child-like steps, his sweet laugh
Ah, curse the time, that damned moment One of our own has killed the laughing boy
Oh for him to have died at the leader's side And only from an English shot should have he gone
Or from a hunger-strike in jail It would have been an honour to have lost the laughing boy
My princely love I shall cry for you For everything you've done for eons I shall tell
Because all our enemies you would have undone Glory and honour to the unforgettable laughing boy |

An interesting find...
The wonders in this part of the universe, They seem born to frame the face and if by chance in the chaos I lost you, I felt a strong sense of unresolved.
A great void that would have pushed me over, until the outer edge of my hopes, I would have looked like a mad knight, I would fight against evil and its instances.
The mazes I path without a wire, feeding me of what the ground would have offered and every new border I would have asked for asylum, I risked my life at sea.
Considering that love is priceless I'm willing to do anything to have a little, whereas love is priceless I will pay by offering all the love, all the love I have.
A prisoner inside the prison infinite, I would feel if you were not in my heart, I would like many hidden behind a finger to give in to the pain sellers.
And I saw things reserved for dreamers, and I drank the bitter juice of contempt, and I made all my acts as impure.
Considering that love is priceless...
Considering that love is priceless, I'm willing to do anything to have a lil', Whereas love is priceless I will pay by offering all the love, all the love I have, all the love I have.
Without you it would have been all in vain, like a sword that pierces a dead body, without love I would be only a charlatan, like a ship that never leaves the port.
Considering that love is priceless, I'm willing to do anything to have a little, Whereas love is priceless I will pay by offering all the love, all the love I have, all the love I have, all the love I have, all the love I have, all the love I have.n++

"Lolita" is a diminutive for "Lola". "Lola" is a diminutive for "Dolores" "Dolores" is a diminutive for "Mar+¡a de los Dolores" "Mar+¡a de los Dolores" means "Our Lady of Sorrows"
So in a wicked way it makes sense that a virgin girl who's the exact opposite of the Virgin Mary, is actually called "little little little Lady of Sorrows"...

Special issue: Manfred Mann covers.
First take, different by just a pea:
This was the original:
Tommy Roe - Sweet pea (1966)
Then Manfred Mann took it over and produced this instrumental classic:
Manfred Mann - Sweet pea (1967)
Not too hard to improve a bublegum hit, right? But, how about obliterating Bruce Springsteen?
First you take this original:
Bruce Springsteen - Blinded by the light (1973)
Then add to it a dose of Manfred Mann and you'll get this masterpiece:
Manfred Mann's Earth Band - Blinded by the light (1976)
Luckily The Boss has got many of his own to prove himself.

Too multi cultural for Amarr. Far too inclusive and open minded. The older songs of DCD would be so much more fitting, like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5J8mvTWceO8 (wow, even the video makes me want to enslave my neighbors and commit several genocides for the glory of our God Empress...)
Maybe these themes would fit more to the Khanid, then. I generally picture the Amarran as something from middle east, rather than purely European. Like the Byzantine empire. With Khanid being far to the east, and more Asian (thus Ishtanchuk got a name that's a portmanteau of mongol and persian, whereas Indahmawar's name is purely Malayan -yet I found too late that "Indah mawar" was a formal greeting for the royalty!)

I think noobdy ever posted anything here that made me go berserk. Odd stuff, yes. But also many of the things I pick to share here are odd. Old, or uncommercial, or obscure, but good music, IMHO.
Some just belong to another time, even if they are more or less timeless. Like today's piece. It's been over 5 years since I posted some Deodato, so...

The Cafe del Mar had been playing music in tis terrace at sunset since 1980, but this theme and it being used as intro music for a radio program in Spain in 1990 boosted its fame until creating the current brand.

Jerry Goodman - On the future of aviation (1985)
Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

When I was younger, I took all measures to preserve the health of a casette tape recording which included this and other themes. It had been recorded in 1979 and to all effects the vinly record taped into it was impossible to find; my father had taped it from a record imported for a customer, a process (importing a vinyl from abroad) which back in 1979 took nearly two months.
