Looking for feedback on this fit to be used in lowsec for blood raider DED sites. Incase you are wondering why i have no Cloak, I was thinking with the new Mobile Depot I can just swith between the fittings for travelling/probing and combat on the run.

Medium Bay Loading Accelerator II Medium Warhead Rigor Catalyst I
Tengu Defensive - Amplification Node Tengu Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Tengu Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir Tengu Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay Tengu Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst
I'm not quite sure about the Rigor since I was told with the new precision missile buff it's not needed anymore but I don't know what to use instead. |

I'd use the medium booster,it is very cheap now. Same DPS, more tank. price should end up roughly the same.

Thank you for your suggestions.

I don't really like the fact that the Medium Booster has worse shield/capacitor usage ratio. That's why I sticked with the small booster. On the other hand I'm not sure what the EHP/s should look like for those sites.
Do you have any numbers in your head regarding the tank? |

You'll be fine mostly, BR have less than stellar tracking. The last room of the 5/10 on the other hand does not allow for a speed tank with its web towers. I'd rather have a stronger tank here. |

I am making a Tengu fit for this same purpose, Blood Raider DED 5-6.
However I only have T2 hams trained, and would prefer to use them.
Can the Tengu be made to handle these sites with hams, what would be the optimal fit? |

HAMs will work, but you will definitely find you have to be much more careful with your maneuvering. The 5/10 tends to have 2 or 3 battleships per pocket that will neut you pretty heavily if you get within 25km. You will need to make sure you stay between 25km and whatever the max range of your HAMs is. For Rage missiles, this will be anything up to 37 depending on skills and implants.
The Tengu really isn't ideal for Blood Raider sites, due to the fact that it has a base 0% EM resist and it can't use its kinetic damage bonus. It will get the job done, but there are definitely better options, such as the stratios or ishtar. |

which kind of sites do you suggest instead for using the Tengu? I just randomly picked BL. + what will i replace the 2 EM Wards with? |

I intend to use javelins with range rigs to reach out to about 65km with my skills.
My worry is the stasis tower room in the DED5.
I am not sure what kind of blood tank I need to mount in order to survive the room stationary untill the towers are down.
I currently have a Gist-C medium booster with an amp and two em wards, and its about 400ehps vs blood raiders.
I am guessing that I need to change it up a bit to get more upfront burst tank at the expense of cap stability. |

I spent a great deal of time in Blood low running this:
[Tengu, exploration killer current] Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II
Pithi C-Type Small Shield Booster Gistii B-Type Small Shield Booster Pithum C-Type EM Ward Amplifier Adaptive Invulnerability Field II Republic Fleet 10MN Afterburner
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Heavy Missile Improved Cloaking Device II
Medium Warhead Rigor Catalyst II Medium Capacitor Control Circuit II Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer II
Tengu Defensive - Adaptive Shielding Tengu Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Tengu Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir Tengu Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay Tengu Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst
For a travel fit I used this:
[Tengu, exploration prober current] Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Expanded Cargohold II
Pithi C-Type Small Shield Booster Pithum C-Type EM Ward Amplifier Adaptive Invulnerability Field II Republic Fleet 10MN Afterburner Relic Analyzer II Cargo Scanner II
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Heavy Missile Sisters Expanded Probe Launcher, Sisters Core Scanner Probe Covert Ops Cloaking Device II
Medium Warhead Rigor Catalyst II Medium Capacitor Control Circuit II Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer II
Tengu Defensive - Adaptive Shielding Tengu Electronics - Emergent Locus Analyzer Tengu Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir Tengu Offensive - Covert Reconfiguration Tengu Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst
Mjolnir Fury Heavy Missile x5000 Caldari Navy Mjolnir Heavy Missile x2000 Caldari Navy Scourge Heavy Missile x1000 Scourge Fury Heavy Missile x1000
I'd carry a damage control and usually ran that for 5/10s. It paid for my account for several years. I use a Legion now but I was pretty happy with the Tengu overall. |

Tengu has amazing natural resists against guristas and serpentis and both of those factions take a lot of damage from kinetic missiles, which the Tengu has a bonus for.
Using a kinetic and a thermal hardener against them will give you a godly tank that would be pretty much impossible to match when trying to tank a tengu against blood raiders or sansha |
