Tragic. I have my loss mails to prove Templis showed up to help in Enaluri. Not sure where your bitterness comes from but its probably good you left CalMil.

Regardless, it's been a really fun few months. Great fights from the squids and even Test. Going to miss the instant action. Here is hoping we find another mutual mosh-pit soon. I'm probably typing on an iPad, which means the auto-correct is silly and fixing typos is a pain. I ain't fixing them. |

Dude - You have confused bitter and smug and taken my usual forum trolling to heart.
Sorry if my honesty and how awesomely accurate I was when I warned you of the flow on effect of burning isk and pilots out on the pointless OICX campaign has upset you.
I even mentioned it would result in the loss home systems.
So smug right now.

They have put up a fight the past 6 times we assaulted Innia. Some times we won, sometimes we didn't. There have been some great fights over the past year, and even after we won, they quickly took the system back. Was a little disconcerting to see it fall so quickly, but my guess is that fatigue finally kicked in. Afterall, Innia is a cesspool of 100+ AU warps and nobody should be forced to live under those conditions. Edit: We were thinking Snigg was working with you guys, and Maxine doesn't qualify as a "group" - she's only one player. Solid fights and thank you for taking the high road in the post. It was an endurance test. As for falling quickly. We knew about 63% contested this time was special. I'll save my comment for later. Nothing negative. Just perception. We fought as long and as hard as our time zones could support. Unfortunately I think this fight on Innia will speak more to how disconnected CalMil is than any other. We never saw the fleet size you guys had. You guys have done a great job getting GalMil Irregulars in your fleets. Unfortunately most of State Protectorate is more concerned with farming for LP. Those that care about PVP and the fights have either joined an active CalMil Corporation / Alliance or joined GalMil.
i do not know what happened innia, last time i visited innia was back in 2010.
But as general it is easy to get numbers when enemy gives easy kills, everyone want to be a winner not a loses, no matter what they claim. So if you start losing fleet fights you will lose players and you will lose more fights etc...
All you can do is to go back to basics, think about setups that works, get people on right ships and start winning plex by plex after that you can setup bigger goal as holding and taking systems. |

Sorry Grimwood, She's mine!!
Just kidding,
Still GalMil did an excellent job from logistics to FC'ing, and all points in between, we all stayed focused on the task at hand, CalMil did put up a good fight, but I'm Like X-G, I hate 100AU warps from hell.

Good fights to those that fought. I'm sure Innia will be yours again at some point in the next year, since no one else wants to live there.
I think BLFOX has something like a bil and a half in prefit ships left in Eha if anyone is interested in buying them, just glad we didn't bring in a another load.
Much appreciation to those that helped organize, handled the logistical tail, cat herded, and blew stuff up (or at least watched timers count down and BS'd on coms). BLFOX is currently recruiting |

Also Deen Wispa, when will you reconsider marrying me? Paging another unimaginative failed nullsec blob alliance to join Calmil (it will happen, it always does). Pretty soon whoever they are will blob the **** out of the warzone and flip systems, lick their burned egos from having failed the blue donut politics endgame, get semi space rich from running cloaked and stabbed plexing alts or doing easy caldari fw missions, maybe, . . . but then decide they really miss moon goo chores and income, hours long nullsec titan sitting type warfare, tidi supercap clusterfucks, jumpbridge tactical movements, and bubbles bubbles everywhere.

Noone wants to bother running Gallente FW missions when squid ones are so much easier. Waffles and company are there for the tears - yours, ours, random passersby... they don't really care. I get how the pie groups work, and the comment wasn't directed at them, or your working with them; they're fine and working with them is fine. It wasn't even meant to undermine your accomplishment; you guys deserve credit for getting it to vulnerable and being able to organize a quick and tidy flip, no easy task, especially in a home system. I genuinely respect that. But talk of whimpers is uncharitable. The system was able to be flipped because we couldn't fight both pirates and you guys on our off-time. Whatever, I'm probably just bitter all the action took place when 90% of templis was unable to log on due to work / school... I was expecting to partake in some big epic space battles tonight, not meekly evacing assets. Good job guys, hope you enjoy it.
Apologies Beardon, the comment was not directed at Templis. Your alliance fought extremely hard during their TZ and fought very well in the build up to the coup de grace, bringing Innia down from 40ish to 20 twice in the days leading up to when the blobs settled in. I was surprised to see some of your guys going toe to toe with us in solo and micro fights during the off hours, many good fights.
However, the Bloc and your other EUTZ counterparts were simply not on the same page. Where Templis threw everything they had while they were on, the euros were fine to watch atrons run a medium and not even try to clear us out with any ship type. The last 20ish percent of Innia was effectively completely uncontested. We we're honestly really dissapointed with them :p
WRT Pirates, the last 9 battles i've had with Swigg they were fighting alongside calmill, also rumor has it some squid alliances are technical blues with them. We don't really have any pirate blues, just being honest. |

I guess, but you're talking to people that defended Eha against far higher number disparities. Fights of 4-5 v 20-30+ were commonplace. Yet at points through out EU with Innia the numbers weren't anywhere near that bad. Counting us in the plex and the WT outside of it, you're talking numbers in the range of 25 v 33 (the only specific numbers I saved off a dscan.)
Sure there were times when our fleet would balloon in size, but there were periods where the 'fight' if it happened was near 50/50, still nothing.
That shouldn't be anywhere near "can't try anything so commence local smack" level. The fact that our slightly larger fleet didn't have to ship to cruisers for mediums was pretty indicative of the issue. AFs against derptrons? Trying to get into plexes first with sniper corms (since you're on defence)? Sniper ABC at range harrassing the ihub bash fleet? Bring cruisers for the frigates in your medium? Copying our kestrels accurately and standing toe to toe? Asymmetric tactics - killing the smaller groups running different plexes when more than one are up?....
There was just... nothing, this is the essence of strategy... weaker opponents are supposed to use it to offset deficiences in quality/quantity, but nada
I am eternally confounded by calmill, the lack of doctrines, the lack of cooperation, the lack of fitting people trying to stay ahead of the plex meta, the random splitting of forces so the AU/RU half of the militia can die alone in random system A, closely followed by the EU/US half dying alone in random system B, **** just boggles the mind. |

What Yuri's really trying to say here is that we active GalMil corps welcome the opportunity for our worthy opponents to join our just cause and proceed to roflstompdominate the warzone.
Because really... if The Church of Awesome, Templis, BLOC, etc made the smart move and came over, no power in the 'verse (not even nullbears licking their wounds...) would allow CalMil to get their feet under them ever again. After all, ya'll have seen how GalMil step up and have each other's backs when the chips are down. Don't you really want to be a part of that, deep down?
Then we'd all be able to focus on building our supercap numbers up to counter all the PL hotdrops... |

A quote from Lieutenant Colonel calmil rank badge is rrally appropriate here, just replace "Caldari Prime" with "Innia":
