doubt it, considering that iPhone is pretty limited in functionality: a her-uuuge 700Mb OS, no copy and paste function, no A2DP support, Office document reading but no editing, no MMS, no voice dialing and no video recording facility. Oh, and you can't use any music as a ringtone - not even plain MP3's!

Originally by: chingon well i just tried it again, and now it seems to work,at least the desktop is working,i can open all programs and stuff but when i open up eve via my taskbar i get a blackout Does it have to run in windowed or fullscreen mode to work best?
If i remeber rightly, you need to set the server end to 'poll the desktop for changes' instead of something to do with when windows tells it its changed...
I hope that makes sense |

Edited by: Sekket on 12/07/2007 22:49:32 Why not just make a web portal where you can do all these things? Then people can take care of stuff at work or on the go with their iPhone or other mobile web device.
Doing windows mobile only reaches a small amount of customers.

You know, a web interface to the market, skill training, eve mail and some other basic functions, accessed via my-eve, would have done the same thing....and allowed all of us WITHOUT Windows Mobile devices to use it as well. Changing skills from my PSP while watching TV would have been awesome. Or from my wifes phone while we are out eating.

On a corp meeting you suddenly pick up your mobile and start fiddling with it. The others ofc frown at you. Then you explain: - Why, I have to start Large Beam Laser Specialization...

I thought that one came out with WM6 only anyway, keep an eye on this site, people post cooked up ROMs there all the time: XDA-Developers (also the official ones from HTC self and T-Mobile, Dopod, etc.).

Any news on "Eve Mobile"?
Btw. if you disclose an api for connecting to the (mobile) eve server, fans have the chance to implement a mobile client for eve. I would prefer a J2ME client due portability. A Java client for Trading, Eve-Mail and Skill-Training should be easy to implement for nearly all actual mobiles.

the original mobile project was started by some computer science students at the university of reykjavik, they have long since graduated and moved on.
I believe CCP got the code off them, and its been a side project on the to do list since :)
