One thing I notice when docked in a station, is some of the textures on my ship will flicker. Happens out of station too but usually too far away to notice. Like the brutix, I will see a triangle disappear or "flicker" here and there. It seems to be the surface of ship is like a hologram or something.
I also notice it seems to go really buggy when my GPU gets hotter.

I had this problem too when it had a bright star shown on screen.
Depending on what video card you are using try changing the OpenGL buffer settings (force Z buffering on some cards) and try changing them in game to. Not at home now and cant check my settings to tell you what fixed it but it did :)
If you have an ATI card and 6.4 drivers go back to 6.3 as they are better :)

Having the same problem with a new PC. I get flickering on roids, ships, stations.
Running 2 x geforce 7900GT's with the 84.21 forceware drivers. Anyone got any idea what's causing it?

Sounds like the depth buffer problem that always has been there, where the depth buffer cannot decide which of two overlapping polygons is on front, so they keep switching. Very annoying indeed. Another topic on the forums indicated that it can be solved by changing from Z-buffer to W-buffer setting, with the drawback that planets become transparent.

Yeah, tried that won't even switch for me. Guess I will just have to deal with it.
In another game, something similar happened where I saw textures flickering, but it seems the game was screwing around and heating up my video ram a ton via some bug.
Now that I have seen some amarr stations I see it really well now. It really bugs me, that this is happening and I cannot fix it though.
