It is now almost two years since the Curatores Veritatis Alliance took the decision to return lawless space to Amarrian control.
Operation Deliverance, as it was termed, has proved to be a huge success.
Initially we focused on wresting control of low-sec systems from the pirate gangs that infested them. Kheram, Gemodi, Mamet and Misaba were the scene for many immense battles versus maurauding bands of pirates that had made this region their home.
Once these areas were 'relatively' secure - and I say relatively (as it is impossible to provide 100% security) we turned our attention to the neighbouring 0.0 space in North Western Providence.
It is an ongoing struggle - one with no end in sight - but I am happy to report that Amarrian law and order now thrives in a region once deemed to be outside the Amarrian Empire.
Thanks to our efforts many honest, law-abiding corporations have settled in these once derelict regions. They have seen the benefits - they have seen that the Amarrian path is the true path and work with us to tackle the raids of pirates and terrorists.
Trade now flourishes and Imperial coffers overflow with bountiful tax revenues generated through an expansion of population and wealth.
Throughout this the CVA has maintained its other core responsibility - the persecution of Minmatar terrorism in all its forms. Our brave pilots (one of whom recently topped 1,000 terrorist & pirate kills) continually raid and harrass the Minmatar Ushra'Khan terrorist alliance and punish them for their infractions. Who can forget the recent glorious sight of their terrorist training camping lying in ruins?
But our contribution to the anti-terrorist cause is not merely military. Through favourable trade deals we support our loyal brothers in PIE, First Praetorian Guard and others in their anti-terrorist actions in Empire.
The CVA today faces many challenges. On one hand, terrorists persist in their stubborn idealogical beliefs and pose a constant threat to Amarr.
On the other, pirate cororations and lawless 0.0 alliance continually challenge our dominion over North Western Providence and our application of Amarrian civilization to it. We can never be complacent or let our guard down, for the moment we do we shall be defeated.
If you had asked me when the CVA initiated 'Deliverance' whether an alliance the size of ours could have achieved what we have achieved I think quite frankly I would have laughed. Yet today I survey our achievements with massive pride and joy.
I salute the brave Amarrians and friends, both within the CVA and without, that have helped make the Deliverance project a success.
I call on Amarrians everywhere to remember their roots, remember their Empire and remember that they are AMARRIAN!
It is our holy duty to educate, inform and spread our civilisation - never forget that.

I was sceptic when the idea was originally proposed but the CVA controlled part of Providence is indeed a safe haven for law abiding citizens now and indeed an extension of the Empire.
Now recruiting!

Hardin, how exactly do you define "Amarrian Paradise"?

Lots of wenc.... erm... sorry - got a little distracted....
I am sure this is a subjective opinion however in my mind an Amarrian Paradise is when society unifies in thought and deed. A society where everyone works for the greater good the glorious Amarrian Empire and the overall betterment of our species. A society that respects its leaders, elders and traditions - for without these we are all truely lost.

From the 8130 CE edition of the Merriam-Webster-Chung Standard Dictionary of the Common Language:
A'mar'ri'an Pa'ra'dise. /a'MAR're'en par'e'DIS/ n [ENG ] (7983) 1: A place/state in which all Amarrians are blissfully happy. Characterized by obsessive devotion to superstition, inefficiency, and men in dresses. 2: A place which no one else can stand. Characterized by boredom, rolling eyes, and snoring in church. 3: A place where certain societal elements are poisoned and enslaved on the basis of meaningless non-biological prejudices. 4: A place where people who don't want to be poisoned and enslaved based on said prejudices are called terrorists. 5: A place with lotz of n00bz who thing la5er5 > m1ss1les.
I hope that answers your question.
(And I don't know what the actual current year is. So I guestimated). |

It is a great achievement of the multiracial alliance CVA to bring peace into this region for law abiding Minmatar, Gallente, Caldari and Amarr. You continue where CFS had failed.

Control of the CVA is Amarrian and will remain Amarrian.
Unlike the CFS we do not make 'democratic' decisions - we make Amarrian decisions. A democratic approach is doomed to fail, as was demonstrated by CFS.
While we share the same 'philosophy' in allowing law abiding pilots to operate peacefully in our space the management structure (and response time) are significantly different.
Our loyalty to the Amarrian way is what gives us strength!

How apt a corporation named Imperial Dreams conjures a concept as paradoxical as paradise under a zealous boot heel.
While I admire the endeavor at civilizing a region, the thought of another region under Imperial control leaves an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Thank you for bringing civilization to 0.0 space. You have my undying gratitude and loyalty.

Hardin, old friend, congratulations on your achievement. Now I'm curious to find out if the CVA responds to calls off distress as well as they did back in the days.
I'll see you around Hardin, I'll see you around.

It's true that CVA and its allied corporations can not keep the Providence region completely free from piracy all the time. However, their continued presence has engendered the local populace to assist CVA and form patrols to police their own.
Some Industrial corporations are also assisting and operating in the region. To state that Providence is completely pacified would be innacurate. However, as a former lawless region, it's well on its way to recovery good work.
Many people may hate the Amarrian Empire, but stability has always been one of it's cornerstones. Even those who are enemies of Amarr acknowledge that Imperial rule is the lesser of two evils compared to lawlesess.

Howevor glorious your gains are now remember this. There are far more powerfull entities out there than the CVA. Your holdings in the south will remain yours till someone else decides they want them more.
Honestly though, I don't see you holding onto it if you decide to push further south and step on the toes of the larger conglomerates. They will wipe you out and go to bed like they never kicked your asses.
Also I see that the UK is growing in power not far from your holdings. Perhaps that is the cure for Amarr expansionsim.
Let's also not forget that the Empire won't take over the territory.... EVER. Deep space is for the pod pilots. If the Amarr Empire wanted it they wouldnt rely on the actions of a few zealouts to take hold of it.

It seems that paradise could not exist to most Amarrians, without a sense of exclusion. It would not be a paradise at all without a contrasting hell to banish the rest of creation into.
One can only wonder how far one would have to dig into history, to find the core of this xenophobia and self-loathing.

Pirate Starbase Destroyed
A starbase at the VII-4 moon in the Yong system was destroyed the last evening by the forces of the Curatores Veritatis Alliance. The starbase, which belonged to the GANKERZ corporation, was used by X13, a pirate corporation which has taken residence in the Lower Domain, to lure inquisitive pilots into a trap using cynosural fields and rumours of incoming motherships as bait. The destruction of this starbase is another demonstration of CVA's commitment to make the Deliverance Region of Lower Domain and Upper Providence a safer place for the law-abiding citizens of the Holy Amarrian Empire.
