For solo PvP, which ship will be most effective? I want a BS that can handle:
-multiple cruisers/battlecruisers with frigate support
-another BS by itself (I'm not asking for miracles or a solo pwnmobile though)
-a HAC/inty combo
OFC I plan to fit a heavy Nosferatu or two in order to deal with the smaller targets I've listed. I want a decent tank, but enough damage to break another BS'es tank, and I'm going to use pulse lasers. Currently I'm leaning toward Geddon because it seems to have a decent tank along with the capability for massive damage and some drones. The Apoc has a nice tank but its damage is so-so, and I'm worried that a HAC/inty team would tank my Apoc's DPS while slowly killing it. While the Geddon, even though its tank isn't as strong, can fit a cap booster and do enough damage to pop the HAC/inty before they make trouble. I've also read that other close-range BS are cake for a well setup Geddon, with the exception of Dominix and Raven. Thoughts?

geddon, you do more dmg with the rate of fire bonus.
you wont be able to handle a domi though
amarr battleships really arent solo ships IMO
not enough mid to handle the current EW state and scramble at the same time.
much better use would be in a small gang.
then it would depend on your function, if you jump in to draw fire and get the enemy to aggro you. then apoc for tanking
if you wanna be the dmg dealer, geddon all the way

I found both Amarr ships seriously lacking in solo PvP, however.. if you have no other option.
Fly a Geddon with web, plates, passive hardening and dual heavy pulse IIs... Or use webbing drones.
Else, fly a NOS apoc with a mix of guns/NOS with a heavy armor tank.

The 'geddon is actually pretty decent at solo PvP - if you use ECM drones.

Meh I'll just go Gallente then. Domi and Mega for the winz0r. I read somewhere that 5 ECM drones are barely as powerful as one multispectral.

My domi was jammed for 3 minutes straight by a rax with 5 medium ecm drones : /

Okay, definately the Geddon for PVP and it is by no means a bad ship for PVP.
I prefer to fit most of my setups to be able to do a lot of damage over a short period of time, so I usually fit a sizable tank, dual heavy beams, some heatsinks, and of course a capacitor booster.
Cruisers will be fairly difficult if there is more then one, as you simply don't have enough nosferatu to disable all of them, but getting jumped by multiple enemies means you're pretty screwed unless you have a gang anyway.

gedden is ok
you need a 90% webber! a 20km, and a heavy cap injecter
the rest is optional but id have 5x t2 hvy exp drones. 7x dhp. 2x dmg mod and a good tank in lows
