I recently purchased your game online about 1/2 weeks ago. I spent a couple of hours playing through the tutorial and an hour or two trying to play the game. I was unhappy w/a lot of aspects of the game and decided I wasnt interested.
So I logged off and decided to cancel account since I didnt even plan on playing it again I figured I might forget.
I was not only unable to cancel account I was unable to remove my cc number from your system. It says account pending payment please try back in 24 hours. I have tried 5 to 50 times every day since then to remove my information from your system but have been unable.
Im very upset about this and if I am unable to remove my information by june 10'th when the next payment is due I will contact a lawyer.
All I can say is that I have never had any issues with any other mmo company over being able to cancel account or remove my information from their database. You guys are the first and it seems really shiesty.
If this issue can be resolved please do it, before I really start to get upset.

Use "Eve Support" on your left at "Ask a question" or you can directly email them at [email protected]
They should be able to help you out from either of those methods. ----------------------------------------------- Hard work MAY pay off later, but procrastination always pays off now! |

I sent that and only got an automated response message. Was your post an automated response message too? I was lounging and noticed the same exact post in a lot of other places. I want an actual person to help me with this and fix it.

Why don't you, you know, do what the automated response says?
Or.. OR.. possibly quit being a moron and going "OMFG U WRONGED MEH I WANTZ SUE U" and try telling your credit card company to not accept charges from CCP?
Just an idea.

Very good in theory, but it wont work. I am employed by a credit card company, and they are unable to block a specific merchant like that (in fact it is illegal for them to do such). Once the charge comes on, you could dispute it and get funds back most likely though.

I haven't used support much myself in the 2+ years I've played Eve. But those two ways are the best ways to get a hold of Customer Support that I know of and I do believe they should help you out from here on in. ----------------------------------------------- Hard work MAY pay off later, but procrastination always pays off now! |

This issue still hasnt been dealt with but I just want to say, Shodai wth is wrong with you? I have a serious complaint and what they are doing is illegal. They are basically holding my cc numbers hostage! And here you come along trolling my post and trying to make me sound like some kinda 10 year old kid with a speach impediment. I will get in touch with a lawyer If I get charged, I dont care how much it costs me atleast I will be paying the lawyer because I want to and not because I have no say in the matter of what I want or dont want to spend my money on.
My post here was because I am upset and want my issue resolved.
Your post here was a way to vent all your pent up anger b/c your boyfriends been pounding you but wont let you pound him back.

Did you follow the advice? Try the Ask A Question link. You can e-mail them too, but that takes the longest amount of time. If you follow up with the Ask a Question link, you should get your problem resolved.
Also try the Add a New Credit Card link under My Account, and see if that lets you update to no credit card.

As I said way up there yes I sent them both before I even posted here I sent an email and tried to ask a question. I got automated responses back. They did give me a support link which i am unable to acess. says it needs my email and passoword but they dont work i get incorrect identification messages. Pressed the send a password button, put in my email and got it back with the same pw i was trying to use that still didnt work.
All I am saying is I should be able to cancel this account. damnit.

Oh and I tried to update cc info too but when I try it says account pending payment try back in 24 hours. Same message for trying to cancel and all that.

It's $15. I understand you're upset but ranting and insulting other posters is not in your best interest. If your credit card is charged simply contact the card company and dispute the charge. Most credit card companies are very easy to work with. My card company actually contacts me from time to time checking on charges that fall outside my norm (like a hotel in Canada, which I've never been to).
Relax and give that a try while your follow up on your attempt to contact customer service. Patience is a virtue. ------------------------------------------- I can't promise to try but I'll try to try. |

Ah I love seeing ignorant customers like Vex. As a customer support person myself it gives me inate pleasure to do everything they ask reeeeealllllly slooooowly while they fling insults at me.
The funny thing these customers don't seem to grasp is that when I get a nice customer who is polite I go out of my way to help and get the job done quickly and efficiently.
Vex, calm yourself down, be patient and your problem will be solved and to be honest, Eve is probably better off without you by the sounds of things.

You bought the game software which include 1 month game time. If you bought a game from store then installed it on your computer and played it then decided you dont like it.. YOU most likely will not be able to get an refund. Only replacement for extact game unless rule apply otherwise.

Way to overreact to such a simple thing as this. The credit card is probably still sitting in pending status because the first transaction (which is completely legit, I'm sure you realise) hasn't completely gone through with your CC company yet. Once it has gone through, the status will probably change and let you cancel your subscription. The fact that you have near a month to do this yet you're panicking about it as though CCP is going to try and hold your card ransom or something is pretty weird..
What didn't you like about it anyway? A game with a universe as large as this, with so many features and things you can do, I doubt you could build a solid opinion about the game in just a couple of hours.

i think ccp will deplete his bank account. its buying in a distance. they have all the right to do so and he can't do a thing behind it. just hide behind the licence agreement.
