Now that CCP has made it clear that grinding personal or corporate standings for a specific empire faction is no longer needed for setting up POS in 0.5, 0.6 and 0.7 systems I propose the following to CCP:
Remove personal or corporate 8.0+ standing at a station to install jump clones, let everybody not be burdened by this grinding
It should be CCPgames policy to not allow lore (the history of the game) to influence the open world pvp gameplay negatively for new players and current capsuleers that want it easier.
Eve rule no.1: The players will make a better version of the game, then CCP initially plans.

Please tell me, what are the many ways to get your jump clones in hisec without grinding any standings in 0.5-1.0 systems ?
Even using someone else's his/her corporation to piggyback on that corporation's standing to install jump clones, takes:
A) Time, you need to leave your current corp, join the corp with standings and leave again in time.
B) Effort, you can be awoxed by your other temporary corp mates and the corp in question can be war-decked
PS: I love Estel Arador Corp Services for my pvp alts Eve rule no.1: The players will make a better version of the game, then CCP initially plans.

Any reimbursement by CCP is not feasible, what do you want to reimburse for your effort, time with plex or few skillpoints in Social ?
The game mechanic of the last 10 years gave players the opportunity to use jump clones in hisec, but now that CCP has entired a new course for the next decade of eve, they have to look towards giving new players and current players that don't like the grind in eve a less difficult gameplay. CCP will find it much more cost effective to delete the code for the grinding of faction standing, then to create even more new game features for just jump clones. Eve rule no.1: The players will make a better version of the game, then CCP initially plans.

A Rorqual can not entire 0.5-1.0 system no matter how good your friends are that fly them, and players who are in empire need 8.0+ standing with the station to install a Jump Clone, that is the whole point of this Thread

Liafcipe9000 wrote:then what purpose would it serve? this is a bad idea, just another reason why not to do missions.
But what is CCP's reason to drop faction standing requirement for POS setup in 0.5, 0.6 and 0.7 systems then ?
If not to make the gameplay for new players or current players who don't want to invest the time and effort for that
The same CCP philosophy can easily be applied to installing Jump Clones in hisec.

Crazy Hooker wrote:why do you need jump clones in empire......so you can go from Jita to Amarr in a flash?
idea is worthless like the idea to allow the ability to put a pos without standings.
With the new industry changes CCP will come up, you will see that placing Jump Clones in empire (especially near losec gates) will be very usefull.
If you still want a nice profit margin by producing ships and items in hisec and losec empire (other then Null sec) you want to seek out systems that will not be busy and cost you an extra 14% in production costs.
With the latest addition of new cloning skills from CCP; Advanced Infomorph Psychology and Infomorph Synchronizing jumping around in empire (0.1-1.0) can be done in a flash. Eve rule no.1: The players will make a better version of the game, then CCP initially plans.

Stein Backstabber, how long did it take you to get 8.0+ standings with the npc corp to allow you to install Jump Clones ?
I see you only have 2 members in your corporation, this means the average standing for that one npc corp is done relatively "convenient".
CCP could make it so "convenient" that anyone can install Jump Clones in all of empire all the time without any difficulty Eve rule no.1: The players will make a better version of the game, then CCP initially plans.

@ Chaotix Morwen and Rivr Luzade;
To install Jump Clones in 0.5-1.0 system across empire space requires perhaps to much time and effort to a larger part of the community, and CCP could opt for a more static gameplay where new players and the current playerbase who like it to be easier just push-button-receive-bacon
By removing faction standing requirements to anchor POS in empire, CCP shows a willingness towards this philosophy.
Especially when it impedes the open world pvp gameplay to a larger part of the community, Jump Clones will be easier accessible across space. Eve rule no.1: The players will make a better version of the game, then CCP initially plans.

As far as JC's go, you would cut out the middle men who provide valuable jump clone services to players without standing for reasonable prices. Don't squash opportunity in the sand box.
Sure, it is nice to see how the sandbox of eve generates new carreers which CCP has not thought up, because some players make a better version of a halfhearted iteration of a feature / mechanic
In this example, source: https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Standings_mechanics#Standings_between_player_entities
You take the standing (without skills included) of each corporation member (towards the NPC entity in question) on an active subscribing account, add them all up and then divide by the number of members that have the standing already in their character sheet. In rare circumstances characters can have standing towards an entity that is not listed in their character sheet. Check by looking up the entity and then looking at the "Standings" tab. The ones who do not have a standing towards the entity are not taken into account. The standings will update to the average after every downtime.
It is also worth noting that members standings towards NPC corps do not begin to affect their global corp standing towards the relevant NPC corp until they have been a member of their current corp for at least 7 days.
This creates a career for the current players who put in their time and effort and gain income from it because they provide service.
However to CCP you could just be a small part of the community that uses a game feature / mechanic that was not intended that way, and because of the sandbox nature you used it for your own to create income.
But CCP's philosophy, read no more faction standing requirement for POS, could extend that philosophy easily to not exclude new players and current players who do not want to see their open world pvp gameplay negatively influenced when it concerns installing up to 10 Jump Clones in a large part of the game more easily or convenient, namely in all the 0.1-1.0 systems. Eve rule no.1: The players will make a better version of the game, then CCP initially plans.
