Goodness knows how many alliances have stuck thier knieves in her, but PA seems incapable of dieing. I heard the PA was rebuilding in empire and planning to take back their former northern territories very soon...anyone know if this is true?

If it was reformed?or carried on, it wouldnt be the same
It wouldnt have any of the founder members/corps
It wouldnt have the same drive as those above so its just like those wanting to bring CA/mo0 etc etc to what they were. It wont happen.
If people wana bring back the PA least choose the VA to get some proper flameage for the forums

The most recent carnation of the PA was the most spineless and pathetic excuse for an allinace i have _EVER_ seen in my 3 years in eve, so why would anyone want to associate themselves with such utter incompotence again i cannot imagine.

And yet at its time PA had some capable people... however with time most left(read as mostly quit eve due to RL issues).

The phoenix is sleeping.
That doesn't mean it will ever wake up again. The situation should be very ideal for anyone to attempt to wake it up. The official in-game alliance is in good hands that I know they want give it away, to any cheap attempt to just use a name with lot of history, good and bad.
Anyway, all the former PA corps seem to be doing well and they are not in empire (Ghost Alliance has settled in Cache, HAOS has merged in Delta, others like SOLID are freelancing, Myth is in Razor), so there is really not anyone left to be troubled with reforming PA.

Well think about this ... loose corps that used to be PA
i think the only THING and only CORP that might REVIVE PHOENIX ALLIANCE atm .. is RONA ... cause they where the 1st to Make the name PA sound across the universe ... and once RONA takes a decision i think people will follow.
Robeyone may indeed have what it takes tbh, pretty hard work.
Lowa would you still sponsor the campaign if RONA Took over PA mate?

I was in RONA then. I know for fact RONA never ran PA. just biggest corp in early PA. and 3/4 of that was inactive. RONA was huge paper tiger then.
look to KIA, BladeRunners, CDI, GODS, OBERON, CE, NSN ect for anything worth looking at.

hehe. No one ran the PA. Just a series of futile counsil meetings followed by every corp just doing whatever the hell they wanted with little/no concensus alliance direction. PA had damn good corps, but we sucked at working together. Bringing back PA would be the worst idea ever. Let the dead rest.

PA isnt comming back people, this is just some noob alt in empire who knows nothings about eve who prob saw that name on the alliance listing (the one online that never updates) and tryed to think a little (tryed)..
PA in the allance listing (in eve) says PA has 2 members (as in players), they are both part of a alt corp and both alts. (most allance leaders do this to remember hold the name)
PA is dead, and will not be comming back.
A few days ago NBSI died, (they were holding at 150 - 200 members), but they now only have 4.
So people unless the facts add up stop posting things like this. What does it get you off or something?

Heh I haven't heard of any comeback of PA.
If it was it isn't by those that was mostly in it.
I was it's last president and I have no intention to resurrecting it. If it is brought up again it won't be by the corps that use to be in it.
To squish the rumors. Most of the corps that had left it are 50-60% Ghost now, some in Delta (LV) another in (D2) a few others just floating around. Besides.. the alliance name is in control of those that was once in PA. So if it is 'made' again it won't be the original name that it started out with and nor will I have anything to do with it.

There were some good corps in the PA. To many meetings which i always said from the start ineed. Bad teamwork? Ish ish, We still manged to win plenty of wars that came to us .
Its easy to look back and look at the faults but that cannot be.
We did a great thing in the PA. And no one can take away the fact that it was a dam good Alliance . We had wars after wars without a break. And we stood strong .
I wasnt around to see the fall of the Alliance i help'd form. But i did see whom was flying the name, And was complety differnt faces. So my point being, The Corps that kept Venal Ours was alot differnt towards the latter period of PA.
Im sure they did a great job but the core of the PA was what we were about .
I did hear about the crap with splits and backstabs but thats another topic.
Again PA is dead . It was a great Alliance and a legend to EVE. We help'd create history and be laid to rest. Every one invloved should be proud, As am i.
If a regional Alliance of that area should be created, It should be the Venal Alliance. The PA has told its story for this Era of time .

PA died several months before their numbers dropped below the 100 mark. It was a privilidge to fly with them and we had some good times but the rot set in and despite some heroic efforts to revive the beast the vets were alas way too late to do anything other than ensure its death was an orderly affair.
Nothing wrong with the occasional "ZOMG PA is dead!!!!!!!!!1111111oneone!eleven!!11 thread though

Problem was that PA never had serious numbers, but area was fcking huge and impossible to cover. If it would all be blobbed up in h-pa or possibly bkg it might last longer, but ppl got used to doing nothing and sitting in their OWN system and npc 23/7... No we were to lazy to mine even, if someone put up pos it was miracle. (and about suckyness of PA, ex-G guys were mining in branch while PA was supposed to be dead already... i wonder what the deal was about that, but i guess i'll never know, cleaning the north came like 3 weeks later )

PA had some awesome corps and some great people, but it also always had so much dead weight that we worried about keeping happy for some ungodly reason.
It was the dead weight that made PA die, but really, most of the folks that flew and fought with us were fantastic and regardless of what sides of the wars we're on now, they'll still always be good friends :)
