response from both animals and car groups are negative over this proposed change.
Animals are accustomed to taking their chances and moving at night during off-peak hours and at unexpected locations, which protects them from cars and predators in the surrounding area.
Cars are usually speed tanked and, more recently, electric and completely silent. "We'll have to change our fits and strategies, and go completely out of our way to hit animals now. I suppose you're going to refund my car so I can get an off-road model?"
Coyote and wolf packs are expected to camp the entrances of these animal crossings, to eat what animals they can and impose a toll on the rest. President of the Commissar Kate Fanclub | Rainfleet on Twitch | Rainfleet Mk III-á |

Place an animal crossing like this, and 90% of animals would still run across the roadway right next to it instead of using it.
People are smarter (supposedly) than most animals, and even we arent smart enough to use crosswalks half the time. Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings? |

This is becoming an "issue".
My last year in San Francisco (on foot only) I was almost beaned 3 times by these cars. They weren't paying attention, and I heard absolutely nothing.
