It is good as an e *****. Most of the time people dont risk it. I would love to see ship prices scale down a lot and start seeing more ships in field instead of .. ishtars..

I don't think this would be a good thing. When you die in Eve it's supposed to hurt. Depending on the ship choice you make depends on how much. I dislike the lack of this in games like COD and WoW but I will admit they are extremely popular.
I think it's all relative to where you live and your in game income. I don't fly pirate faction battleships in PVP but I know many who do every day. Granted the ISK value does give them second thoughts to doing something foolish.
I would say the big deterrent for flying supers is they're too large to dock in a station. You're either stuck in it or have a second account with a sitter. It's a highly specialized ship that requires a lot of support from an alliance. |

Due to the huge huge risk of deploying a supercarrier, you will never see one outside a POS unless you're lucky, or getting hot-dropped.
Nyx puts out 10-12.5k DPS at the moment with fighter bombers. Almost 200k alpha. Basically, it blows things up really fast. Nyx, like all combat capitals, are surgical strike weapons. You don't sit them out there or someone will drop more caps on it. You tackle something, drop your caps, kill the enemy, and GTFO. Nyx is also a sexy-fast ratting ship... If you want to risk it.

i use mine for belt ratting . now with the gecko drones and high slot full of DCUs' and lows with DDA all rats fall to it. dont forget too fit faction TP and webs |

Nyxs are used as targets for hotdroppers. Or, according to Shadoo they use them as their "T1 Logistics" for their roams and gangs. Seems legit
