Two ravens and a brutix were camping a gate so I waddled my alt thru in a tanked domi and got aggressed and then warped myself in to take pot-shots at them.
After being accused of getting the sentries on my side and being gutless (etc etc) I offered a 1v1 on my alt which was accepted. The rule was no ewar.
Bit of a chatlog because it's a pirate story (yarr! etc)
Pestillence > how about a 1v1 vs me fury?
Fury Hellsong > what, with ewar?
Fury Hellsong > no ewar and you got it
Pestillence > no ewar
Fury Hellsong > ok give me a few minutes for cap and you can name the planet
Fury Hellsong > Ok Pest, where do you want to meet? No one will interfere unless someone else shows up
Having faith in the better nature of people ( ) I unfitted my multispecs and warped to the planet and landed 40km away from Fury Hellsongs raven. Drones out and approach so I can stick my nos on him. He's firing a mix of t2 torp and siege at me which hurt but the dual rep keep up quite comfortably and I had cap charges. Eventually get into nos range and my drones break his tank.
He's deep into structure and 3/4 of his friends warp in.
Fury Hellsong > hey you said no ewar

Before I know it I'm jammed (sigh) but watch with satisfaction as my ogreII's finish him off. I die shortly thereafter.

Guys, a 1v1 means to the death, otherwise it's pretty meaningless

Hate to be a pedant (well, I don't really), but warp scramblers do come under the category of e-war on the market.
Still, I have no sympathy for him if he was trying to run away from a 1v1. Warp scramblers shouldn't really be necessary.

Its a sorry sight to lose a ship to people that think a 1 vs 1 isnt to the death.
"Fancy a duel mate, just to armour?" is a Duel.
"I want a 1 vs 1" is to death.

Didn't quite get your stance; you mean if a something is done often enough its fine? That is, since corp theft is so common, you will hold no grudge if your director/ceo steals all corp assets and your ships from POS?
Or you want to tell you would cheat in 1v1 if one was ever offered to you?
IMHO, these kind of threads do have a purpose. There won't much immediate consequences, but perhaps one day a chat could go along like:
- Hey, XXX is asking +standings to beat evil YYY
- Njah, searched forum and seems they condone lame behaviour, lets keep them neutral

Meh thats nothing.
I was onced accused of cheating in a 1v1 because I used drones. Apperently it became a 14v1 when I launched them....
Same guy also said it wasn't fair to scramble someone either.

There is really not much i can say to this other then to offer an appology on the behalf of BOKK. I only regret that i was not present the night that this happened.
I recently learned about this incident and am in the proccess of finding out what really happened but i know deja and i know conin to be a very honorable corporation and deja to be a moral person. I find it hard to believe that fury would make such a rash mistake but i do know fury and he is usually drunk when he plays. I realize though that in no way does that condon his actions. I will be speaking personally with him about this.
Yes, it's true that bokk is very new to pirating. Most of us have uber carebear skills. We are just a group of people who got tired of staring at veldspar all day. I realize that we have much to learn and i cherish every moment that we are allowed to fight distinguished players such as the members of conin.
Also please don't lay the action of one member on the rest of the corporation. I have always tried to be as honorable as possible. I'm sure any conin member can attest to the fact that i have never stooped to the levels that you speak of in this thread. Tha includes many of the bokk members. Please if anyone has a dispute with someone eve-mail me, convo me, write me a letter. I will take care of the matter.
From myself as a director of BOKK and TSB accept my appology on behalf of the brotherhood. Mistakes happen i just wish it had not happened like this.
If it is any consolation i will ask fury to write a formal apology.

No, it was my alt shooting the raven due to the killrights.
You coming in and aggroing in a ferox was a bit silly. The guys just jumped in to scramble you and let you get a bit of sentry loving. (Same with the rupture and I think there was a caracal too)

First, I am sorry for the lose of your Dom. All we were told before we warped in to kill you was that you had breached the agreement and Fury needed help. I did not find out until after the damage was done. It was a mistake on our part and a bad call on Furys part to call us in. If you like I will buy you another Dom to replace the one you lose.

One other thing,
Did Fury try to warp away before you warp jammed him?? I just want to get my facts straight. The 1vs1 should be to the death. He should not have tried to warp away, and you should not have had a reason to have one on your ship at the time. He should have taken the lose as a learning experience. Again, sorry this mistake happened and my offer still stands for a new Dom.
Oh and and those who don't know, Warp Scramblers are a Electronic Warfare module.
