as it seems to be now, Concord can deploy an unlimited amount of ships. Why not let Concord have a a limit on how many ships they have in each region.
So With the burn jita, then Concord had countless ships. With a limit, the burn jita would result in a much slower reaction time for Concord in oter areas of the region.
And if Concord wants to expand the amount of ships, they need to Place buy orders on the marked. If u sell ships to Concord, u get lower price, but u gain LP.
Could it be abused? ofcourse..... but it would create a little twist to EVE reality ;D |

I believe you can screw up concord response times by causing an incident elsewhere in system already.
But to answer your "Why not?" question. Because carebears. |

as the mechanics stand - concord should NOT be beatable - no matter HOW many people in logi chains you deploy to system, that seems right and proper. I see no need to rebalance this For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it WILL be. |

It's been proven exactly why a beatable concord is a bad idea in the past of EVE. It was literally game breaking, required direct Dev intervention to avoid having EVE failscade and become a ghost town. |

Yes and no. As i recall there was way back in the mists of time a rather large fleet of pirates with logistics that attempted to get into a knock down drag out fight with concord and anyone else who though they were 'ard enough to tangle. It ended with everyone in the fleet dieing. However they lived long enough and caused enough damage that concord is now in it's current incarnation. As for the lag issue of concord, or making concord a more gameable system to ease suicide ganks.
I'm not against it. But frankly. concord should probably just run a single titan death laser near the sun in every empire system that just reaches out and touches you with it's 1,000AU plasma ***** after a set lock time based on sec status of system. |

Considering the damage goons can do with the infinite Concord blob, I don't really want to consider the idea of them being able to pose a real resistance to the space police themselves.
Concord is meant to deliver overwhelming and insurmountable opposition to anyone who breaks their rules. You don't beat them. You don't escape them. So it seems to be working as intended.
As for the whole ship buying thing, it sounds a little too gimmicky. |

u know the forum is faulted by the basic idea its based upon? When did CCP implement a "good" idea from this forum? Has CCP yet fixed the sov and pos issues?
It dont matter if an idea is good or not, cuz this forum is the wall of ignorance.
And ridiculous changes is what EVE needs to bring back some fun in this game, cuz at its present course, its heading Down the drain.
Further ive wonderd a long time why not forumusers dont agree on one important change, take a massive stand and bombard CCP With demand of change..... But again... most players dont like or want real changes and thats the downfall of EVE. They want options where they can have pink ships and throw flowers at Concord.

Well, if you want ridiculous change, then do it to 00 sec. There it is where it is needed the most. If you take away Concord from High sec (and yes, what you suggest is equal to taking away Concord from High sec, there is no denying), people just flock to High sec again and grief the hell out of the players again and more than they already do.
Yes, I understand your points about the ignorance, but most of the changes, which are proposed here, always and exclusively go against High sec players and you just signed your participation form in this ignorant and daft club. Only a very select few have the fantasy or imagination necessary to come up with ideas on how to make the game areas better or change them, which NEED change. And those ideas are usually ridiculed by those who would be affect by the change, because MOST of the players there want to keep their Status Quo, while getting easier and less risky access to kills and content on back of other players. |

No... what i saying is that there should be limitations to how much force Concord have, set a limit on the number of ships Concord can have.... not remove Concord.
But on the otherhand, CCP could change Highsec totally, to boost the carebare community... As fast u enter Highsec, all gun and quipment that creates agression gets turned off and wont get activated before u leave highsec. Tho when etering combatsites in highsec, guns get activated again. |

That. Is. Removing. CONCORD. Please re-read the m0o article, please read this post, please re-read what Burn Jita does. And then please re-think about your idea.
And please cancel your membership in the daft "Nerf CONCORD club", it does no good to you. CONCORD is not the problem, High sec is not the problem. People in 00 sec and Low sec are the problem. |

Then you should know how utterly incapable CONCORD already is, even in such high class systems as Jita. Further delay is equal to taking Concord away. It is pointless and does nothing to foster the Sandbox. Players, after all, don't play the Sandbox, they just want to live their lower instincts and sinister desires. High sec, however, should no be the first place for that. That is what Low sec and 00 sec is for.
But then again, exactly this attitude drives people out of these parts of space, because who wants to voluntarily take on the role of the victim, right? And then you and all the others expect that changing even more areas of space into this rotten state will make people happily run into your guns and keep them playing because it is so enjoyable? That is delusional. |

Unfortunately, when day by day, one is told that being a victim is the natural state of things and you must take pleasure in the suffering of others in order to understand EvE ...
Then the day comes when people think. "Wait a minute, I do not want to, that turns my stomach, maybe they are right and EvE is NOT for me" and yet another one goes, even though he may have been lucky enough not to experience it directly.
The toxic culture of hating all that is not twisted and corrupt spreads unchecked, it is not concord that needs changing, it is the accepted attitude.
TL;DR sandbox does not equal litter-tray.

I don't generally expect to be telling the gankers to HTFU. Fit a warfare link to your tech 1 battlecruiser. Train Wing Commander. Get in the Squad Commander or Wing Commander position. Your fleets will be superior to everyone else's. (had this sig BEFORE Odyssey BC rebalance) And bring back the missile Inquisitor!! |

No. You two just differ on what you believe the points/focus of Eve to be. This is good and natural because if you didn't the game wouldn't actually be a "sandbox".
CONCORD response time is fine. If you don't like the response time move to a lower security area, that's why the security ratings exist in the first place.
