Once I enter into FW, can I attack an opposing militia member anytime, anywhere without CONCORD reprisal? I'm wondering if by doing this I can attack "enemy" players even in high-sec and not have to worry about the usual pvp consequences of CONCORD and security rating decreases. I.e.: is my only worry the enemy fighting back and losing standing with the enemy militia? I'm curious to try this if that's the case...as it would let me start doing PVP pretty much anywhere without having to wade into much lower security areas while I get my feet wet.
Also, is there an easy way on my overview to see if a player is attackable due to FW status? I know that presently if someone is outlaw or ciminal they'll flash, making it handy to at a glance see who's viable to kill. But if I join FW, is there a similar icon or indicator or will I have to "Show Info" on every single player ship before determining if it's a valid kill target?
Thanks! |

Yes, you can attack members of the opposing millitia even in highsec. If you're in the enemy state's system, you'll have to contend with their navy, but not concord. |

If you're in enemy Highsec you'll be chased around by facpopo until they pop you or you go away. CONCORD doesn't interfere because you are in a mutual war with the opposing militia. Conversely you can shoot enemy militia in friendly highsec. Of course they will be too busy running away.
For overview just check eve-uni overview pack. TEST overview settings also works but alas I can't access it in this laptop. Default overview will make flashy friendly militia looks appear hostile. A good way to lose your ship and standings. I've killed alot of friendly militia newbies in FW because they shot at me first due to default overview. |

Just to add an idea on what the navy does: .5 systems will apply only about 200 dps along with webs and damps, whereas .6 will already apply something around 700 dps with neuts, damps and webs.
1.0 navy is much more extreme, of course, but I've seen it being tanked by certain very creative setups. www.minerbumping.com |

You may want to consider that in High Sec you will be the target to any size ship fighting for the enemy. You could be fighting against a ship many times larger than yours.
In low-sec systems you can somewhat control the size of your opponent. Entering the Novice, Small, Medium, and Large "plexes" will determine what size ships will be there, or can enter after you.
