Funny, I just spend time today dl'ing mp3 remakes of old C64 music, like trance remixes of Ghouls 'n Ghosts for example...
I love song transformations like that. This one's staying on my HD aswell, and now that Jon's giving you the nod, I'd say keep on working on some of the others aswell...

This is realy good, i have visted that site quite alot downloaded some songs before, even had a go at remixing some songs but you take the best song and make it better/ uptodate ect. Keep going i say, keep at it and have fun doing it!

Edited by: fuze on 31/05/2006 13:33:28 To add a little something. I've made a ambient type of song in a similar style as Jon Hallur.

When travelling through a solarsystem you pick up a distress call from a vessel and you decide to have a look. I a field of debris the remails of a hull slowly spins around. There is still machinery running inside and cooling liquid is pouring into space quickly turning into ice. This ship was destroyed very recently. You decide it's safer to continue your travel. |

That's quite good, actually. The first two minutes or so are just asking to be used in the intro of some combat movie
It felt a bit repetitive later, but then again, I guess it should be, being ambient and background.

The main 'theme' of glowing dust imo is the cyber whale song
you have overlooked that completly and instead cheesified this dance track.

Great work, I really enjoyed it and yet, like others have said it still held a feeling of EVE really well for me.
Below the Asteroids is definitely my favourite, would love to see something done with that and tbh I quite like the current splash music, its kinda stormy and cool.

Edited by: The Hand on 05/06/2006 02:01:19 M8 nice remix, I played it at the end of the night saturday went well between bt (flaming june) and chicane (Offshore) (yes i was brave and played an eve song in a nightclub),
I had a fair few people ask me what it was called and who it was by, I think you might be one to something keep it up.

Awesome work Januchi. Like many people, trance isn't my thing, but I could get into this.
@ Fuze: WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Dude. First you flame this guy, then flame him again, then flame him a third time, all the time being a bit of an ignorant and unconstructive ass I might add, but then you top it off by posting your own music here in his thread?
Seriously?

This is really a nice piece of work januchi, im listening to it at least once a day, im really looking forward to hear more remixes of eve stuff :) Be proud of it, if you did it once im sure you can do it again, at least try!
Fuze, I like your thing too, its really making a scary ambient with sense of horror in it. What I would use it for is some movie that has a battlefield full of dead bodies after a long battle, this music would really work great with that scene. Or just some kind of SF movie with some mystery alien race, like protoss in Starcraft :)
Damn im so big fan of this kind of music guys, its not easy to find it on internet, if you could only have some webpage with your work and links to similar stuff :(
