I'm currently looking for ideas to change High sec rules to protect against suicide gankers. Because with the new Tiers 3 BC it'll be easier to make some suicide gank for a cheap price and i don't think we still can speak about security anymore.
I think ganking miners in high sec isn't normal and concord must change to help players to survive outside large corporations or alliance. I also think that it's not normal to insurance to pay for ship shooted by condord. I also would like to stop seeing people with -10 sec status in high sec : concord should search and destroy them in hight sec.
i really think if change doesn't come to make the game a little safer in high sec some customers will just give up for an other game : Wardeck & factional are allowed in high sec, we don't need suicide ganking. |

1. Don't bot. 2. Fit a tank 3. (on sisi, IIRC) removal of insurance for concordokken, coming in the winter expansion 4. watch local, dscan, etc. 5. figure out who the "locals" are, and which ones are ganking you 6. move to a lower-population system
furthermore, ganking people to get rid of them is a viable tactic ... why waste 2m+ on a wardec when I can gank you a handful of times, and protect MY asteroid fields just as easily |

Suicide ganking is part of life in high security space. War decs are easy to evade, and factional warfare is a volunteer effort. Suicide ganking is the only way to reach people who would otherwise be perfectly safe in an environment that is not meant to be perfectly safe.
Sorry, no. Unless changes are made to enforce players moving out of NPC corporations and stop corp hopping and dec shielding during war decs, suicide ganking is not only desirable, but necessary. Unsub or don't.-á I don't care what your reasons are, and neither does anyone else.-á Just click the button and go away - or don't. |

hi sec npcs will shoot outlaws on gates. They clear pod and can reship. Just to maybe die on the next gate. So there are already penalties for being -10 in empire.
Don't mine in systems with a low sec gateway and a station. They jsut have to face that one gate back and forth. MIne a few systems away. More gates they jump....more likely they will lose ships to npc's or players who can shoot them. -10 (well red blinky blinky outlaw status the whole scale) means free kills for any player. Don't think the npcs are doing a good job....give them a hand. Don't shoot the pod, iirc pods are off limits (someone please correct if wrong).
lack of insurance will jsut mean they will try harder. If sisi code makes production server, all you people who have been whining for this will see this. You now have a good chance of meeting amateurs and thrill seekers. Low skill, crap fits that you actually might tank or fight off. No insurance they will go for a sure kill with better fits and tactics. Not a ganker but know this from 0.0. In a t2 ship insurance is a waste of time. So in t2 I want kills more to make it worth my while when ship is lost at some point. Now in insurable t1....I will hit anything and not care. Not an ideal fit or the run will end up with me diaf most likely? Meh...lets go for it anyway. Paid either way so all good.
Your gankers will work under the same concept. Take away the insurance as a backup....they will want your mods and cargo more. Its how they will get paid.
